Hi.  Long time no post. 
^_^
I've moved recently to Germany, but I'm interested on the FFE meeting of course. Am curious to visit London (since I never visited England and the airtrips are normally cheap).
Like said, am interested... Still too early for me to tell how my life will be then (jobs in germany, vacations in portugal, weddings of friends in portugal, etc..).
I'll try to keep a open eye on this subject.
Just need to post this ...

I Skiara! In respose to your questions..
Yes and No.
- Yes, moved on the 2nd of September.
In the meanwhile already registered, legalized, with definitive permit of residence, yada yada yada... (Am living in Osnabrück's zone already.  ).
- No, I still don't have a job (will start looking for a part time one).
I'm in the VHS, because first things first: I need to learn well the language if I am to have a good job and in my area of expertise.
I saved money during a year and half, and also sold my car before comming to Germany. So for now I have money to keep me going for, I would guess, a full year even.
But of course i don't want to waste all of it, so a job is due (one that does not conflict with the VHS).
In relation to the true topic of this thread, I just asked Julia if she would like to go to the CE. She seemed somewhat interested also, but still not decided. Anyway i better let her watch the TV News (sacred momment ).

Actually was quite simple and effective. Only had to go to one place here in Germany to legalize. And both the residence permit and the citizen of osnabrück registration was taken care of at one reception. Took me about 20minutes, since i took a waiting ticket and was leaving the place already with everything done and with papers in hand. Gotta love EU.

I know it's eraly in the game but I think we should decide soon when the meeting will be (before or after CE).
Hotel prices are rising and hotels and flights are filling up.

Yes, let's decide on that soon! Prices are still low for flights, but that will change soon, I fear. I know, many of you can't tell, if and when they can have some days of, but I think we can't wait that long, till everyone has his/her schedule for that time fixed. Let's just decide on before or after and then decide how many days the meeting should be. Then we can just say it's then and then and fix the dates. If you are able to come is another matter then. I know that's hard for some of you, but we can't wait till it's to late to get affordable flights and hotels.

 It's pretty hard for me, but the votes are in favour of before. So I'd say, tell everybody to come vote and give them another week, or just take the votes already there and decide.

While only 14 people voted in the poll, I'd say we can still pretty much call it decided. It's not a close race and it's been up a month. The four people who voted for "both/don't care" won't object, so the 3 preferring the meeting to be afterwards are in the minority. That includes me, but that's the way things work.
Unless you want the RSAs/CRs to tell their FFs one last time to vote in it - but then give it only a week or two.

I want to go so much... I've already started saving up, but surely I'll need to find a job in London and stay there for about two months, so that I'd get something more from that trip.
Well, I'd probably go to Ireland or the UK this summer anyway, but the CE makes it much more fun
