I also think this is a great idea, and I'm sure FF Romania members will contribute in every way they can. We are a pretty active group, with lots of activities, we write fan fiction and we have in production our first fan film.
I think it would be a nice idea if every issue of the newsletter would contain a presentation of a different European FanForce and maybe some of the country's touristic attractions. That way we will know each other better, and also the places we are living in.

That's a great idea and something that should definitely appear - this is all about what FF Europe is and does, but also the creative sides and just some fun too.
Good to have you on board
I'm away at the London Film and Comic Con this weekend, so I won't be able to respond (unless I can get my PSP linked up to the web at the con ), but hopefully the other CRs and RSAs will post let us know if they think we can do this. We'll give people some time then decide how/when to move on.

Hey Tim, everyone. Just read your PM and I think that this indeed sounds like an interesting idea. I would like to be of assistance so I'll just keep checking the thread for updates. Rock on.

I like this idea, if we can get it working so that it's not a single person who has to do everything. I know from some experience that it can be exhausting keeping something like this going just by yourself.

Sounds like a good idea to me.
In the case of the GSFF I'd guess it would be best to have it as one unit. As my fellow CR and dear RSA seems to think that this is a good idea as well, it should definately be doable.

Why not have each Fan Force do a part each and then submit it to whoever is in charge?

It makes a lot of sense Moose
So any thoughts on who you all want to lead this endeavour?

I think the RSAs should organise the regional contributions and then take it in turns to put it together. That way it won't be just one person responsible for it all the time.

Well, for first few issues I am ok now to be project leader (as it were) until we are smoothly off the ground. Plus I don't mind going pestering people to get on with it when we need articles in lol.
So as well as the chapter sections - where I think CRs will be the best contact points tbh, since I know RSAs have enough on their plates without me adding this to their schedules - though any RSA wishing to contribute/help out/lead is more than welcome to - we can have people writing on what's out there and coming out for SW collectors (incl. books/comics/games/etc), plus we can exhibit fan art and fan fic. I'll ask the mods in those areas if they mind me posting about this idea in their respective areas. And other sections too.
Just got hold of a pdf program that will allow me to merge pdf files (something I need elsewhere to) - called CutePDF Professional. So we are just about set up to push onwards with this.
Please post below how you want to contribute (FF updates, writer, artist, fan fic writer, etc). Thanks
