It would be nice if the FFUK organizes something, yes.

Yoda is back home?! Wow, I haven't heard from him in a while. How is he? And how is the photo-book?

South Australia = He is here and this is all I know. . .
I cant wait to get to Rome (been wanting to go for 8 or so years)!
I reckon a FFUK meet would be cooL! This is all so exciting (and kinda scary at the same time!)

If 3 Southern FFUKers can make it, I'd be happy, because meets are getting rare again...
Dunno where a good place to meet in the UK would be though. Probably London, unless you have some touristy place you want to visit

I think that would be cooL!
Do you recommend some sort of touristy place? (i will visit some of them anyway). I reckon you being the loacl, you would have a good idea where most people could make it for a meet. I would be happy almost anywhere as long as I could find it

Um, I'm only really good with stuff near to me, so I'll list them:
Stonehenge (boring)
Salisbury Cathedral (big, but boring)
Avebury (boring)
Bath Spa (mostly boring)
Various White Horses (boring)
Other than Bath and Salisbury though, they're hard to get to. London's the easiest place for everyone, because there're loads of rail connections that all end up in London somehow
Plus, London's relatively easy to navigate, if you've got a compass, a map, and Tim guiding you...
j/k, I think most FFUKers know their way around London now, after CE

Oh and yes, Tim is the guide for London
Kooks, I can't wait to see if you really make it here - it would be beyond cool!

Heh, I can see several Southern/Londoners being upset now
Depending on when all this would happen, I would probably help with both a FFUK North meetup and a FFUK London meetup (I still have to go see Tutankhamun and the Terracotta army exhibitions, before they close. Kooky, I'd recommend post in the FFUK North forum, here, asap, because that is the most active UK chapter and does meet fairly regularly on both sides of the North (I am based in the NW btw). The FFUK North are also discussing coming to Dublin this year, if you post soon we could get the ball rolling on that and have it before you leave the Emerald Isle. And hopefully before a few of us do the Coast to Coast walk, cos after that you may never see us again lol.

yeah! what an Awesome Idea!
Due to changes in my life here in this very small green (i mean GREEN) dot, I will still visit most of the country's I mentioned above, but instead of a 3 month block of me doing that, I might come for a week (or 5 days) and the go back to Ireland, and then go out again a few weeks later to another country. This is not yet certain, but it will be by the end of Feb, the rest of my year should be worked out. So I will still county at least a month before I declare that I am coming!

Yes I am planning on Poland as well. The only place I have planned for Poland so far is a small town called 'Brody'. Chasing family history and all. . .I have not planned much other then that. . . I am pretty much, get there and see type of person. . .I know the rest of the world is not quite like that.
Well, for the past few weeks, life got really hectic and plans where changed. I left one job and now have another one. I am not to sure (yet) on what type of hoildays I can get while at this job. but I am sure to work that out shortly.
I leave this new job in Jan next year (if all goes well) and so then I would do some touring in Feb 09 (and thats not the best time to see the northern hemisphere) Hopefully I can see a lot of that before that time.
I have two weeks of now. . but its not fair, and probly to hard to orgnise something with other country's (beyond England). At the moment I have it as I will see most of England this comning week (Mon 18th - mon 25th) and Isle of Man for a week (25-3rd March) but if I could get somewhere in that week, it would be much better.
Any inconvenience caused is payed back with cute little Australian Animals. . .

If you're going to be around Salisbury this next week, send me a PM or something. It'd be cool to meet up

Just three or four days in one country? That's short!
Do you already know which cities and places you want to visit within the countries? I think it'll be impossible to see everything with such a short time. So I suggest to add a 'favorite sight-seeing list' as well.
