	Oh fantastic!! These are amazing (as usual... [face_jealous] )!! This captures just beautifully the pivotal moment in the duel, when Anakin's lust for revenge and triumph push him straight into Obi Wan's waiting blade... Just awesome: the energy in both pieces is tremendous, with Anakin just leaping, and Obi Wan coiled and ready. I laughed when I read the "shading up the wazoo" comment from you! You weren't kidding! soits is so right about the texturing here--absolutely superb! And don't kill me--I could so see these colored...but only very carefully, so as to preserve the outstanding detailing you've achieved here. 	Fantastic!! What a great portrait of the venerable Admiral! The pose is wonderful, the gesture--this is a superb perspective, too, from slightly above him as he commands the battle. As always, your work with pen-and-ink leaves me speechless--the stipling for shadows and textures...wow! And the detailing on his uniform is outstanding! Yet another awesome piece Bill! 	ducks Holy Moly!! What a great view of this guy!! I've seen some fan/pro art of Durge, but not much--he seems like quite the bad@$$! And this perspective is proof, I think! 	Awesome Quinlan Vos!!! Tremendous energy in this, with that dynamic pose, his fierce expression and all the bold lines and shading--just awesome (and I would so not want to be the poor schmuck on the receiving end of that blow... )!!! You did a great job of showing that yellow tattoo on his face--that had to be somewhat problematic in a black-and-white piece! lol! This looks so great! 	Not my standard "Cable Original" inked stuff, but I figured I'd post it here anyway. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll begin assembling the custom carded figures. This run should be really nice. The art is hand-drawn and inked, then scanned and colored in Photoshop. 	I hope this doesn't mean you're going to stop posting in the forum...since I seem to be your only visitor... I LOVE this! It's great fun to see a more "cartoony" style from you--I can't do this type of thing for anything (...of course....I don't try to, either....)! I really like the cave environment he's tearing through, with all the glowing crystals on the walls (great job doing that glow, btw!)--is this a scene from the series, or something you thought up? How fun to be doing a series like this! Do you actually assemble the figures, too, or are you just doing the cards for someone else's figures? It really looks like the actual item, in any case--great job! And, for what it's worth, I'm a big fan of your work--that's why I always drop in! 	Let's see... I'll still be posting art. I figure people are seeing them even if they're not replying. The scene is from my head... a vision of them invading the lightsaber crystal mines on Ilum. The glow is the standard "outer glow" effect in Photoshop, just tweaked a bit. I do assemble the figures. Buy up a batch of loose Vintage figures, clean them up a bit, and mount them on the cardbacks. The first two I did conatined random Droids coins. The later two have resin coins. For this one my coin guy cast them off the POTF Stormtrooper coin and colored them gold... and they look amazing. Here are the first three I did: I did the Bossk originally as a give-away "proof card" for a PSWCS Summer Social. I got such a positive reaction that I decided to do a custom carded run. They sold well enough that I continued doing them from time to time. I try to do them in the "stiff" style of the Vintage Droids cardbacks... the characters on those are often pretty awkward-looking. 	Well, I'm glad you're not going to be leaving us! And man, those carded figures look awesome!! The Chewbacca one is my favorite: the "bar fight to end all bar fights!" lol! What a great image--and is that Han peering over the edge of the counter there? Whoever it is, it's a wonderful piece! These look just like the regular figure cards, but what a great thing: to get the figure and an original artwork! Awesome idea, and I wish you much success with them! 	Oh my, I love those cardboard backings for figures! (If you ever do a Thrawn one- TELL ME!) They're dead sweet, and yet I love how you made some of them quite stiff, to represent some of the vintage pictures drawn on cardboard boxes! Do you colour on computer, or is it Prisma markers?
