Nicely done, FF! You never fail to disappoint! This drawing really came out nice - the composition fits together really well! And the smoke looks much better.
The different textures on the clothing, the ground, the smoke, etc really helps to bring this thing to life. You truly did a nice job with this and I can't wait to see what else you have in store.

Hi Idrelle! Thanks so much for taking a look (sometimes it's a gamble, with an OC, whether anyone will have an interest! )! Your comments are lovely--thank you for that! The tattered cape just seemed appropriate: it seems to be the appearance of any cape for any Mando (in the references I've seen, anyway). This fellow is sporting a modified version of Jedi robes here, which are generally long--it just fit that they'd be all torn up, too! You mentioned a lack of cityscape--hee!--I don't know if it was a conscious artistic choice (outside of my just not wanting to have to draw one! lol! ), but if it contributes to the atmosphere, then it's one of those "happy accidents!" I'm glad the "dangerous" feeling comes across--I got the impression from the user that this fellow is indeed that! Thanks so much for the reply--it's greatly appreciated! 
soitscometothis--Hello again, and thanks muchly for taking time to look and comment! I always wait to hear what you think of one of my figures--your own figure work is so beautiful, your opinion is well-respected in that regard! LOL about the stormtroopers!  "Showing off...?" More like just whisking them in with minimal detailing just to have something back there! **giggles** Backgrounds...every one of them is a real chore! **nodding** I'm so glad you like this--many thanks, my friend, for your kind words!

NYCitygurl--Hello, and thank you so much for dropping by, and for the comments! Pencils are my only medium (...mostly! ), and I'm glad you like the shading: it's hard sometimes, for pieces like this one, where it's an "invented" person/figure, with no photo reference for the light. I'm still trying to figure out how to make light more dramatic without reference...it's a slow task! More studying, for sure! Thank you again for having a look and for the comments!

 He's absolutely stunning FF! The pose, shading, detail... it's all amazing. I still can't get over how you can get such emotion into faces. The background looks incredible too, love the smoke!

Aw, thanks! And with such a TINY little face, too (it's only 3/4 inch long! lol! **gets out magnifying glass** )! I try! It doesn't always work--but I try! I'm glad you like this (and that the b/g looks okay--first time I've ever tried drawing smoke! **wipes away worry-sweat**)! I very much appreciate the visit and comments!

Here's Luke and Mara--for some context: this is supposed to be EARLY in their relationship, sometime immediately after the novel "Vision of the Future"--and it's kind of a "soft focus" effect, too (mostly because the reference for the figures was terribly fuzzy!). I just wanted to show them in a warm, close (perhaps intimate--but not graphic!) moment, when their love was new and their life together was just beginning... **gets emotional** As usual, I want to give a BIG credit to AG88, who is always my sounding board for all attempted likenesses of Luke (I think she knows his face better than her own! )--thank you again, my friend! :

Awww, wow! How cool is this?! They look oh-so-lovely together... It's an absolutely gorgeous piece - and I can't see anything wrong with the figures or anything else for that matter! It's perfect, I love the expressions on their faces and the composition is spot-on, too! Great job on the hair, too, and the skin tones. And the lighting. And the poses. And the expressions...
Right, I'm repeating myself. But seriously, this is gorgeous! Love seeing these two together! Huuuuge well done!

L/M! As beautiful as the drawing is, it makes me miss Mara even more! 
Anyways (*puts away the tissue box*), it's wonderful to see an L/M drawing of the early days of their relationship. I love the "soft focus" effect, it makes it seem even more warm and fuzzy than it would if it were drawn more sharply. I love their expressions -- so tender and caring! Awww...
Gorgeous piece -- a question though: are you trying a slightly difference likeness for Mara? Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, but she looks a little different that she has in other drawings of her done by you. She still looks wonderful (of course!), just a little different in facial features from your other pics of Mara.
Or maybe my eyes are just playing tricks on me.

Yes, I am officially envious of you and how you render your hair, although, I think I may have mentioned that already. You picked such a great moment to capture and it makes the whole thing bittersweet knowing what eventually happens to them in LOTF. You mentioned the anatomy/figures not being quite right, judging from my first view of it, I didn't see any glaring problems. Things look to be right from my end. You did a really nice job with this and it even echoes the earlier Luke/Mara piece you've done. I love it! And of course, I can't wait for the unveil of the "Fury" piece.

It's lovely, FF! I love the lighting, and they seem so comfortable with one another, but tentative at the same time. The expression on her face says it all, especially knowing some of their history and her former profession which makes the level of trust displayed here truly remarkable. Wonderful!
