Hey, I have posted all my current art onto photobucket and i want to show them to you!
-ANAKIN- This was my version of Auriela's Anakin which is very similar along with the Obi and Yoda.
-ANAKIN2- This is a drawing i did in a couple of mins, i wanted to show the confusion of Anakin.
-ANTANDDEC- This isn't my best one, I done this from memory that is why it doesn't look too good.
-BADBOYS- This is a drawing of Mike Lowry and Marcus Bernett (Will Smith and Martin Lawrence), it aint to good.
-EAR- This is an piece I done in school of my ear, I am rather pleased with it.
-EYE- This is also a piece I done in school the Iris should be rounder(something my art teacher touched on)
-GRIEVIOUS- This is a homwork for school, it is Grievious one way....
-GRIEVIOUS SNAKE- .. and a snake the other way!
-MAUL- I wan't to catch the evilness of Maul in this one.
-MOUTH- This is yet another school piece which i redone after my 1st attempt didn't turn out too good.
-NOSE- This is again a school piece which i am chuffed about, the pic isn't that good.
-OBI- This is my version of Auriela's Obi and i am happy with it, one pupil didn't pop up too good with the flash.
-YODA- This is my 'Auriela' Yoda piece.
-PastandPresent- A tribute to Ewan Mcgregor/Obi Wan
-PandP- The same pic but edited.
-Harry- Harry potter.
These pics have been brightened darkened ect. so they are easier to see, i will try and get my scanner working again soon.
Please comment on my work, more to come soon. You can also see some sigs I made on the main album.

RE: Stevo's Art Museum
Hello. I havent posted in a while but I wanted to give a quick comment about your work. First off, I'd like to say that there are a lot of good things happening in your drawings. Your proportions and likenesses are very good. I think your work would go to the next level if you look more closely at the light and dark values of whatever photo youre drawing from. Light and shadow are what really make a drawing pop and seem 3 dimensional. I feel that your work suffers a bit from tonal 2-D. Also, I would stop using the charcoal for awhile if I were you. It's a very blunt instrument for drawing, and I myself seldom use it because it can be very hard to control. Smudges dont equal shading. There are a lot of great pencil hardnesses out there that will give you far more subtlety than a stick of charcoal. Lastly, I would say to anyone at any level of the game to slow down. Rushed drawings are almost always bad ones. Quick sketches can be very informative, but dont really hold up as finished art. I read in your bio that you are 14, and this is very solid work for someone your age. I look forward to seeing what you do next.

RE: Stevo's Art Museum
Hey
Stevo
, welcome to the Fan Art forum! You should be very honored that
THEFORCE16
dropped a comment--he's a very gifted artist, and his advice is to be treasured and followed!
I took a look at your gallery and have to agree that your work is exceptional in line and likeness--I also agree that more aggressive shading would go a long way in really giving impact to it. It's something we all try to work on, I think--getting those darker values that give true volume and dimension--and it's so, so worth the effort. I'd like to suggest that you take a look through the threads of
Your_Worshipfulness
,
aurelia_acc
and
Ljungberg
for a few--all are graphite artists extraordinaire, and their work and techniques are worthy of study. All bring a great deal of contrast to their drawings, and...well...you'll see the results of that for yourself!
If you're doing work of this quality at age 14, you really have a marvelous start in the field! Keep on working and posting, and again--welcome to the forum!

This is really good stuff. I know that its good to get compliments, as they make us feel like were not working at this stuff for nothing. I see real promise in your future. You're definitely capturing the essence of your subject, but again I would stress that you slow down a little. A little subtlety would absolutely ramp your drawings up to the next level. Try a lighter hand with the shading, and really examine your subject closely for the tonal values. Another thing that really helps me is to do a page of doodles before you start in on something serious. It calms your hand and mind down and allows you to focus better. At least for me. Keep going.

Great collection you're getting up here, you should be proud of yourself.
It's wonderful to see new and upcoming artists improve over time, so welcome and hope you can share your work with us for a while to come.
Your star wars work is quite good, really got some great potential here. I agree with
Theforce16
in that maybe slowing down would be beneficial. Maybe take some time to study up some anatomy books so you know, even without reference, where the parts and tones should lie. This won't happen overnight, but I think it'd help you along. As an artist you never stop learning and looking and improving (I'm always on the prowl for new techniques and critiques of my work). You're doing so wonderfully and again, well done!
Oh and is the new Harry Potter out now? I'm in Australia and it's taking its time to be released thats for sure. Was it good?
