	"Open Call" Requests The Rules: The new Fan Art Request thread is designed to work in sync with the current "Volunteer" system. This thread is designed to allow more freedom to the folks asking for requests as well as the artists taking on the task. The goal here is to provide an "open" atmosphere for requesters and artists alike to ensure that requests get done promptly and on a higher level. If You Would Like to Make a Request: If you are interested in getting a request filled, please fill out the following form and post it within this thread with as much information as possible. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for the artists to render what you have in mind: Requester's Username: Category(Fan Fic, Roleplaying, Other): Detailed Description: Please provide characters involved, details of said characters, layout/composition, clothes, accessories, the background, text - anything you can think of! The more the better! Any other Information: Any request posted outside of this thread(creating your own thread for a request) will be locked! Once you have filled out this form, I will update the first page of this thread with your information. If you Want to Fill a Request: If you are an artist looking to fill a request, please review the list that will be posted on the first page of this thread and select the request that best serves your interests. After contacting the requester and getting a green light to proceed, send a PM to myself indicating which request you will be filling and I will update the thread accordingly. The main goal here is to have fun with this! Remember, an artist is not obligated to fill anyone's request. They are doing you a favor. Please be patient! The eldest is Mikaeline Sennedi and the youngest is Reaina Sennedi. Here's the info - Mikaeline: Her eyes are bright blue, they stand out in her face. Her hair is short, barely touching her shoulder and is wildly curly. Not tight curls and not consistant curls. If that makes sense, the color is blue-black. Both would have dark blue lips and fingernails, as well as the fruit-wood color skin. As for her clothing... I'm not exactly sure about... So, I'm gonna say, be creative. Something form-fitting for both of them, Mik's focus on dark blues, for Aina focus on dark purples. I do know a couple things, she would wear leather bracers. I'd also like to see tabbards of sorts, but if you can't work that in, don't worry about it. On to tattoos, Mik's tattoos are on her cheeks, the back of her wrists, and around her ankles. The ones on her ankles wouldn't be visible. Nor would the ones on her wrists. The other thing for her is the scar across her lips. Also, the skin in that picture is too light, it would need to be a few shades darker in my opinion. Reaina: Her eyes are violet, bright and noticable like Mik's. Her hair is long and wavy, I'd say midway down back, though I think it'd be cool if she had it up in an exotic fashion of sorts. Feel free to be creative there. Her hair is also blue-black, lips and fingernails blue, skin the same fruit-wood color. Her clothing, once again, not much of an idea, form-fitting, or maybe something similar to a Geisha's outfit. Though not so much clothing and definitely not as bright. Focus on purples. Her tattoos... let's see, she has them on her forhead and bridge of her nose, her chin, around her neck and on the back of her wrists. The tats on her wrists once again shouldn't be seen. Hers will be dark purple in color. You can go ahead and do as you wish as far as pattern goes for the neck. Her skin is right on, the tone is perfect in my opinion and it took me forever to get it right. I sort of had these in mind as portraits that come down to the waist, I'd say go ahead and include lightsabers, but I'd rather not. I'd prefer them to each be drawn seperately, but remember they are sisters and need to have some sort of resemblence in face structure, etc. Perhaps I'm simply too picky, but I'd also prefer them to be drawn by hand and colored using Photoshop or another graphics program. I want them to be as near to realistic as possible, but not 3-D or anything like that. As for the background, I just want it plain old white. I have a pre-existing background I'll fix the image to so that I can use it on my Roleplaying forum. He is a jedi knight from Tatooine, which basically goes for his complexion, he should have a firm, dark, smooth skin and a youthful look. He is 24 years old, to be precise. As for hair color, well, anything dark will do, from blacks to browns, just nothing light. He must have gentle, broad, cheekbones to show his handsomeness. It's a trait he has, no matter how many battle's he partakes in, he never gets scarred. Not too tall, about the same height as Obi-wan, taller by an inch maybe? Skin as tan, which I've already mentioned. Clothing, well, let's see. If you've ever played the game KotOR II, then you will notice the Matukai Robes are actually green on there, so basically, the traditional jedi knight robes, in a light shadw of green. Except for the belt, the gloves and the boots, which should appear as brown leather. Accessories, okay, all he really needs is a lightsaber hilt clipped onto his belt which should be made visible, it should be long, but thin and the button is red, it would be nice if the metal platings were a chrome sort of blue, but either silver or metallic blue will do fine. No particular background, if anything, a swamp, but I won't go into detail because it isn't highly a necessity in this particular portrait. Finally, the name, Anaron Nexon, Jedi Knight. Written at the bottom of the page, only if you have the time, it doesn't even have to be fancy font. Just anything that labels this as that character. Requester's Username: Corrin_Wyndryder [b]Category: Fan Film Concept Art Detailed Description: I need a detailed cargo ship. I need 7 angles of the exterior. (Top, bottom, front, back, left, right, and perspective.) Additionally, I need interior images of the cockpit. This ship will be created in 3D and used for the fan film "The Hunt for the Codex." Other Information: I don't have any real specifics on the style so I'm leaving it to the artist's imagination. I only have a few requirements. I need a two seater cockpit with the pilot on the left hand side of the controls. Also, the make and model of the ship needs to be fitting for the time period of the New Republic 15 years after ROTJ. It's a pirate ship called the Queen Amidala's Revenge. The Queen Amidala's Revenge has a graceful silhouette, a reminder of it's glory days in the Naboo Royal Navy. However, it's beautiful chrome finish has faded to a dull gray. The hull is covered in carbon scoring, scratches, and dents. Rusty armor plating has been placed over some of the ship's more vital systems, and the two X-Wing laser cannons jutting out from underneath the bow look simply odd. Any other Information: Here's a brief history of the ship: Once the pride of the Naboo Royal Navy, the Queen Amidala's Compassion began it's life as a Medical Transport during the Clone Wars. During the Galactic Civil War, it was acquired by a group of Rebel smugglers who used the ship's superior speed as a blockade runner. The even added two smuggling compartments. It was then seized by the Imperial Bureau of ships and services when falsified records were found aboard. BoSS never discovered the spare X-wing laser cannons hidden in the smuggling compartments. The ship was then auctioned off to an Imperial Governor who wanted to turn it into a pleasure yacht. While it was being transported to the governor, it was captured by pirates. The pirates renamed the ship the Queen Amidala's Revenge and began adding an extensive complement of weapons. The two X-wing laser parts were found by the pirates who gradually acumulated enough parts to mount two complete X-wing laser cannons under the bow of the ship. A second power core was added to help power the additional weaponry. Years later, a tractor beam was added, but this modification was poorly done, so the pirates added a magnetic grapling hook in the event the tractor beam failed. Over the years, more weapons were added which caused the secondary power core to become unstable and prone to failure. From the time of the Galactic Civil War to the rise of the New Jedi Order, the ship has been under the command of nearly a dozen pirate captains. Female Sith Lord. A Twi'lek. A 100-year-old purple Twi'lek Sith wearing Darth Bandon's armor. Modified Darth Bandon's armor. It's supposed to be 731 BBY, around three thousand years after Darth Bandon, so the armor might or might not look anything like the armor actually worn by Darth Bandon. Using Bandon's concept art might be a good idea, the armor there looks similar but not exactly the same as in the game. She is also supposed to weild a red lightsaber and a Rodian cryogen whip, so she could either have 'em clipped at her belt, wield one of them while the other's clipped at her belt, or wield both even. What I really look for is for the extreme age to be visible in every pore of her skin; I want her to really look like a supercentenarian, not stulized but really, visibly and believably old. Like someone you'd expect to be immobile yet is standing there with armor and lightsaber, ready for a fight. She's supposed to have cybernetic legs (but not like Grievous', like Vader's, they are supposed to be hidden so they shouldn't be noticeable as long as she's wearing pants and boots) and some burn scars from a failed attempt at her life by her apprentice, but nothing too extensive. She has also lost her teeth and replaced them with durasteel Fortuna-style fangs, so a nice evil grin would showcase them and do her credit. Now, I'd like something like a character concept art, but anything more complicated, even a stylized pose, is welcome. For the beginning of the film I’m planning on having an impressive montage that takes the viewer through some of the unique aspects of the Star Wars universe, ending with a battle scene. I’m trying to make it look really good not just because I do that for all my scenes but because this is probably the most important part, for it’ll suck the viewers in (or at least attempt to). Why I’m writing is because I need a background for a battle scene. Here’s what I’m looking for- it’s supposed to take place on this one planet shown in the Clone Wars cartoon. It’s supposed to be the homeworld of the Banking Clan, so all the architecture was inspired by banks, which are all Grecian in design. However, she's only half human, and thirteen years old by human standards (and only looks slightly older, I'd say). Her non-human half is actually a very close to human race, so... yeah, she looks almost completely human. Her skin is a very pale, contrasting with her charcoal black hair. I say charcoal because it has no sheen-- very matte. Her hair is cut at her chin, and was cut with a knife, so it's rather uneven. Her cheekbones are normally placed, her face small and angled. In fact, everything about her is small. She's small boned, short for her age, and not so overly pretty, but rather attractive in a dark (but not seductive) way. Her eye color is black, and deep, and she is rather intimidating. When she smiles-- even if she is smiling good naturedly-- it comes out rather wicked looking. She is agile, and lithe, and is partially immune to lightsaber burns. If you haven't already guessed, she's evil. She plays Qui-Gon Jinn's padawan learner-- responsible for getting Xanatos kicked out of the Jedi Order after they dueled with full-power lightsabers (it was Xan's idea though...). She was stabbed in the neck with his lightsaber, but managed to live, because she is pretty much completely immune to lightsabers. In consequence she has a large, raised, angled black scar across her neck that looks really pretty much... charred is the only thing I can think of to describe it. She only wears black, and loves a black cloak she bought for herself. It clasps around her neck with a tiny, silver clasp. Her lightsaber is black-- made with a murky colored crystal she found on the ground. The hilt of her saber is-- you guessed it!-- black, and at the end is a symbol that looks like a disembodied eye. Her mother was from Korriban-- a planet that breathes darkness-- so Krishna considers herself pretty attatched to the Dark side. She also won the Boonta Eve Classic podrace on Tatooine, has gambled with bounty hunters behind her master's back, bought vibroshivs from street merchants and touched the Dark side... on purpose. The reason I am posting this on the fanart site is that I was wondering if someone would be interested in doing just a few concept drawings for a scene that we are working on. The jist of the story is that between Ep I and II a Padawan Learner named Shalto leaves the Jedi Order under mysterous circumstances. Still wishing to help others he elects to become a bounty hunter in the Outer Rim territories. He takes on the near impossible task of trying to bring the criminal elements of the Outer Rim to heel. He is dealing with not only the negative perceptions of bounty hunters in general but also the disapproval of the Jedi Order. Things become even more complicated when he becomes entangled with not only the Trade Federation but also a nihilistic dark side cult dedicated to destroying everything that stands in their way of fufilling their dark destiny. The scene we are prepping for takes place at the begining of the film. Shalto arrives at a planet to collect a bounty on a gang of pirates who have taken over a small town. The scene takes place in a bar where the pirates are engaged in drunken carousing. What we could use is some concept drawings to give us some idea of which direction to go in terms of costuming. I do have a strong concept as far as Shalto's appearence. He is human, and he should have the appearence of a western gunslinger. He should have a long western style coat, twin gun holsters, fairly plain shirt and boots. He should also have the stub of a Padawan braid just behind his right ear. (A symbol of his broken Jedi training.) The pirates themselves are bit like Hell's Angels in many respects. They should be human (don' t think I can afford extensive make up at this point) Some of them might be wearing parts of crew uniforms they have stolen and since modified to there own individual style. Just keep it within reason given the fact that we don't have a large budget and keep them human. We also have a human bar maid chacracter that we could use help with. Now of the Details: Vincent kept himself trimmed in a very Mikaru like manner. His hair was extremely long, down past his back, which he kept braided. He kept the 'top' of his hear neat but would occasionally let it go spiked. His clothing was normally very loose, aside from his body glove to aid in his movement, and contrary to what would later be tradition he never showed off his tattoos. His facial hair was always groomed almost unnaturally perfect, As such he always appeared cleanshaven. And he almost never wore gloves on his hands, so that he was always in contact with his lightsaber and could physically touch his environment. Naturally his eyes were a silver blue, but he lost his right one in an accident. While his left remained the same natural colour, he had always wanted green eyes so when he got his Cybernetic he chose it to be naturally green. Along with the Cybernetic he got a special contact lens that matched the colour of the cybernetic eye. Vincent had very few visible scars thanks to modern medical technology, though there was a small barely visible one on his right eye where he had lost it. His back also had a few scars that had healed over before he got to a bacta tank and were now permanently part of him. The only scar on his body that was kept on purpose was on his left thigh, the origin of the scar is a public mystery. Vincent's outfits were notably unusual amongst other Templars. This outfit consisted of loose tan trousers, he also wore tan and black boots that went over the bottom of his trousers each had four black buckles close together near the top. He wore along with this a sleeveless tan undertunic with a meshed V-neck that tucked into his pants. Over this he wore a black, nano armorweave surcoat that zipped from waist up to his neck, showing just a bit of the meshed V-neck. Over this he would a tabard that wrapped around the back of his neck and came down to just about his knees, this sash/sash was normally black with a white outline but on occasion he wore one with a silvery dragon design. And finally he wore a Simple dark tan Krayt Dragon belt over his pants, coat, and sash, the belt held a few pouches and a clip for his lightsaber. 	COVERS NEEDED FOR THE FAN FICTION ARCHIVE! Hello, there. In the process of the recent massive edit Pallas-Athena and Herman did to add in our brand spankin' new time periods, we at the Archive discovered that, contrary to previous belief, we really didn't have covers for all of our fics! So far, we've found four that we need to commission covers for. Any and all help would be deeply appreciated. The four fics are: The Big Snub, here, by Brendon Wahlberg, Tank Boma and the Rise of the New Sith, here, by the same author, Crash Course, here, by Lilith Demodae, and Haven of Peace, here, by Melyanna. We really appreciate anyone who can lend us a hand with these. After we get covers up for these, we'll look through the next 200 or so fics.
