Beautiful, beautiful cards, Ingrid! The one depicting the final scene of LC really came out nice - that's my favorite of the bunch!

I HAD to get in here and check out the "catastrophic mess!"  But, as I suspected, a mess was the last thing I discovered!!  [face_nodding]
Gawd, what a great collection!! Or should I say, collections? They're all just wonderful, but some of my favorites are--the puppy (Lordy, what a darling face!!  ), some of the "epic" scenes from LOTR, and most of the Indy ones (when I saw the one of Indy in class, I couldn't stop laughing, thinking of that girl in the front row with the "I LOVE YOU" on her eyelids! **collapses in laughter again** ). Your ability to capture a likeness is so "jealous-making," but it's one of the things I simply adore about looking through your work! Marion especially looks terrific! Awesome work all around!

Great googily-moogily! those cards are incredible. I don't know how you get such photo realistic drawings on such a small surface, incredible detail!? Each one is superb. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Those are amazing!! And as much as I like the colored ones, I adore the non-colored -- you show amazing detail.

Thank you everyone... HanSolo29 - that card turned out better than I thought it would...I may keep it! FalconFan - thanks for stopping by! It's SO nice to see you back, and I'm looking forward to see more of your work! Ty-Ordell and NYCitygurl - thanks...one of the hardest things about doing sets like these is the fact that you simply CAN'T put alot of time on most of the cards. But Star Wars and Indiana Jones are my favorites so far...
An we just got a new Teckel puppy, cute as all get out...might do a little portrait of him during a break...
And now....on to Jacen!

Well, I actually did get some sketches done! Nothing finished yet...  ...but, there are a few new things.... first, I do stuff for a horse magazine on occasion, and these illustrations were for a driving certificate:

The first of 3 cards for another cancer benefit (breast cancer)character chosen in honor of the up-coming movie... There will be of course a princess Leia, and I know with absolute certainty that no-one will be able to guess the third female character I chose, as I think I'm the only person who is a fan of the show...  ...I'll post her when she is done: (hmmmmm.....if anyone guesses, maybe I should give them a card...)

Great update, jedipencil!
The last batch of LOTR cards really turned out nice! I'm really liking that last Frodo - so much depth and detail in such a small space! And I must say, the ET one? I love it!

Oh, loving the new pieces!! I'm with our mod on these--Frodo and the ET pieces are just fantastic! It still boggles my mind, how much detail you manage to get in such a tiny space...awesome!

Well, here goes. I've done a bunch of quick sketches - I mean really loose and unfinished - of Jacen, Jaina and Ben... I'll post them all probably this week, but this morning Ben is in the scanner. Any and all crits are EXTREMELY welcome!!! I'd like perhaps to do a painted piece of this one... Again, this is loose and free, just trying to get a feel for this. I'd like to find a way to get Mara Jade's name in here somewhere...any ideas? I wanted to do a piece with Ben contemplating his Jedi role, perhaps thinking about why his mom appeared to him and not his dad...something like that.... My idea of a lightsabre fight between Jaina and Jacen is up next...

Mitth_Fisto, HanSolo29 and TrulyGhent.....thanks so much for looking! The sketch of Ben will definitely end up a painting. Perhaps I'll add Mara and Luke...I really don't know yet. Well here is a quick sketch of Jaina and Jacen in my imagined battle together...the anatomy needs more work on this one, kinks that still need to be ironed out. This one is destined as a sketch card duo, but I might turn it into a painting as well. Any criticisms or background suggestions on either sketch are very welcome...!

Oooh, I really like your art! The one of Ben is really good, you've really captured his thoughtfulness - with perhaps a hint of doubt? (I haven't read LotF.)
I like the Jacen vs. Jaina one, too - you have the anatomy stuff down pretty well! It's a nice change from the usual formal-pose, two-hands-on-lightsaber depictions of Jedi fights that one usually sees. I think Jaina's left arm goes back a bit too much, or at an odd angle - not sure, but it looks a bit "off". Don't get me wrong, though, I really like this piece! If you're going to paint it, I'd suggest a fairly dark background - suitable to the fight, and also makes the lightsabers easier to paint.
