Very nice so far! I think you got a great dynamic pose going here. I absolutely love it and I'm sure it'll make a great sketch card duo!
I'm also glad to hear that the Ben piece will have some color! I can't wait to see it!

Iverna and HanSolo29...thank you so much for letting me know what you think! It is hard to see one's own mistakes...  Jaina has her hand stretched out like that because of some techniques she is learning now. (I don't want to spoil the books too much for anyone...) I think it is the angle of the shoulder that needs some work. And I think you are right about a darkish background....I might make it misty-ish/spooky-ish with some added props... (for the painting anyway, for the cards I'll keep it simple. Spooky, but simple because of the size.) I'm really looking forward to painting Ben....It will have to wait a week or two, but I'm looking forward to it. Gotta fix his hands though.

Very nice sketch, she looks like she is ready for an unconventional back spin clonk to put it roughly, as for a back ground I would recommend either someplace dark with windows(possibly shaded as in the movie Ep II) or some window less dark hideaway. But with the background slightly staggered smeared from right to left so you have random lines of smear everywhere except on the figures and their lightsabers leaving them the only things fully in 'focus' and the world seemingly revoling around their duel. Or the Universe depending on your point of view.

Hi jedipencil, and sorry for taking so long to comment on these latest EU pieces--I LOVE them!! The one of Ben gives my heart a pinch: lots of emotion in that one for me--it's a wonderful rendering of Luke and Mara's son! And Jaina and Caedus in battle is going to be epic--I can see the "unconventional" in Jaina's movement--I hope it'll be enough to save her...
It's awesome you're doing some EU stuff--you're so talented, I knew they'd be outstanding!

Wow, awesome cards, Ingrid! I'm particularly digging your Clone Wars and Indy IV return cards. Nicely done!
