Wow, those are all so good. And the last one, the last one oh my god. I LOVE the last one!!! Calvin and Hobbes!!! shock shock grin Calvin and Hobbes rock everything. They are the best. And putting them in a picture of yours automatically makes it the best. Especially when it's o good!

love Awww, thanks, luv. My husband was equally happy and bouncing around through our living-room. Actually he came up with the title of the painting.

Black-Dog posted:
Stunning work as always. Your drawings of Jango, House and the elves really stand out to me. applause

Thanks, dear Black-Dog. The elves are a special project of mine.

The farmland where my two little nephews live in East Sussex/ UK are a special place. You expect Winnie the Puh to pop up suddenly, for it is the area where he was ´born´.

Instead you find other things there, such as the students from the nearby Waldorf school. They are all over the place, sitting, waiting and searching.

I do not mind them, like their enthusiasm. It is just unnerving when you literally fall over them in the dark...

Next time, when I visit the apple yard, I have a torchlight or a candle with me. frustrated

Anyway, I want to make a Children book for one of my little nephews. With elves.

The Charakters really look like themselves, very professional, my dear wink

I wonder how much space your walls have... thinking

ratna posted:
The picture of Anakin facing the amorphous black menace is so evocative. Is that dark shape an enemy? Is it himself? Wow. And in the next picture, of Dr. Xavier and Yoda, you reveal WHY your pictures are so strong: it is your draftsmanship! The crossovers are so creative, too. I especially like the one with Wonder Woman. Nice contrast of color between her vibrant costume and Jabba's 'slug brown'. Nice humor with 'clobberin' time', and Calvin and Hobbes. Just lovely all around. happy

Well, dear ratna. Originally I wanted just one painting, but then my head exploded with ideas.

MsLanna posted:
Those crossover pics are beautiful, and the captions make them hilarious.

Thanks, luv. You need a lot to laugh about at present. With all that stress.

The Wonder Woman and Jabba art is good. happy

Dear old friend, I am happy when I can make you happy.

Corellian_Outrider posted:
There are wonderful use of colours in your paintings that catches the eye. The balance of subtle tones on the Xavier and Yoda artwork looks great. The contrast of colour on the Wonder Woman and Jabba piece stands out as well.

I also love how you show the development process for each painting. A snapshot at the different stages you went through to the final form. Its a fascinating process.

I'm curious to know if there is a favourite character, theme or era that you enjoy the most working on or prefer?

Dear Outrider, I like the Skywalker family a lot. Including their partners, the robots and friends. Thanks a million for your nice comment.

Thanks, hon. You also look sexy with your sock!

grin

I did spent the past 2 hours learning how to fill in a spreadsheet from Open Office in order to please my job coach. Now I have a mega headache and will go off-line.

For some daft reason my husband, sitting behind me in front of his computer, had no lunch and is starving now. Silly, sweet man for I had lunch.

Anyway, the last painting is a wish of an old school friend of mine who lives in Norway since two years. She wanted to have an abstract painting, showing the goddess in one of her forms. But I am not convinced yet and try to come up with something else.

Poor dear, I know the problems with the amount of PMs one can write as a sock. And sorry for spelling your family name wrong. Let us blame it on the headaches.

Gordon Ramsey is a world famous chef of English origin. He is funny and a genius.

Okay, here are repaints of old paintings of mine that I need for my Boba Fett graphic novel "No comment":

And now more attempts to paint a goddess for a friend of mine who lives in Norway.

Pele, the Volcano Goddess of Hawaii:

Gaja, the Greek Earth Goddess:

The goddesses are looking lovely.

The colours you are using in a way reminds me of the three Goddesses: Nayru, Din and Farore.
