Your colors are always bright and vibrant and they appear to be leaping off the canvas. And we can't forget to mention all the emotion you manage to capture. That's one of the things that continues to draw me into your works. You really seem to capture what the characters are feeling and you convey that perfectly to the viewer. I'm looking forward to more! Also, I'm enjoying the series of pieces you're doing for the fan fic. Keep it up!

FalconFan posted:Huge congrats and Wookiee-hugs on winning the Challenge, earlybird! The honor is well-deserved, and I echo all that our erstwile moderator has said about your lovely work! I really like the drawing of Obi Wan with his son--and I agree: he would've made a wonderful father. I'm sure that jacen200015 is going to be doing handsprings for joy over these beautiful illustrations (it isn't often that a fan fiction author can boast original oil paintings to illustrate their story! )--the one with the two boys in the Temple and Master Obi Wan kind of looming up behind them gives a rather tense feel to the piece (were they being mischievous before...? ); the child seated by the stream, on the other hand, seems more melancholy and moody--what's on that datapad that has him so deep in thought...? Beautiful and insightful work, as always! FF
