	Hello everyone ! My name is Thomas (a.k.a.a. Saith), and you probably guessed I'm a fan of star wars (well especially The New Jedi Order and Legacy of the force). I've been here viewing everyone's art for quite some time and have always been impressed by how talented some fan could be. I tought I might give a try at creating and posting some stuff. All the stuff I do is digitally. For starters, I'm gonna post 2 things I've done : The first one is a colorisation of an art by falcon fan : Zekk & Jaina Solo "Are We On Corellia Yet?" See full version See full version I did two version, a dark one with blue shading, and another one with clear lights. I did them using photoshop. You can see FalconFan's original art here (I also advice you to check her topic if you've not alredy done it, you'll be amazed). The other work I'm gonna post is still work in progress. I'm doing a 3d version of Jacen Solo for future arts (I'll do more characters when I'm done with with his creation). Here are two preview of what it looks like so far : See full version See full version I did this with poser 6 with some face morphing (it still need work) and photoshop texturing. The second one has hair but it doesn't fit in some angles (we don't see the problem on this rendering), and I still need to find him appropiate clothes. If you're familiar with poser and have some tips or some props & material (star wars looking-clothes, settings,outer spaces, settings...) don't hesitate to contact me. That's it for today. I hope you'll like it. Don't hesitate to post comment here or on my deviantart profile (even bad comments when you have some, they'll help me to get better). I've also got a few more things coming

	Well, well! Look who I found here! As I've mentioned, this coloring of "Are We On Corellia Yet?" is wonderful: you've totally cleaned up and saturated the colors, and given the entire piece a more finished look! Well done, and thank you very much! The two Jacen WIPs are wonderful so far--Poser is a very popular tool for digital painters, and it looks to me as though you've got it pretty well in hand! The first portrait (the larger piece without the hair) has a wonderful expression--so like his father's characteristic smirk!--and I'm really liking the steeper perspective you've chosen for it, too: it gives the piece a good energy and feel. The second is also great--good work with the hair, there--very much like all the proart images of Jacen. It's going to be great to see these as you progress with them! 	Wow, that rendering of Jacen is really amazing! It's similar to how he's depicted on the NJO covers, yet you added your own feel to it. I love how he resembles Han in the nose and mouth - that crooked smirk was a dead giveaway. As for the second rendering, I think it's a good start, but the hair may need a little more definition. It's a little flat how it appears now and I think that may be part of what you said regarding some of the angles not laying right. 	HanSolo29 -- Glad you liked my Jacen, that was the idea to have some Han-ish to him. And yeh the hair need some work, but I didn’t even mean about the lack of definition, it just doesn’t feet the head. If u see him from different angles, it looks like a wig rested on his head. I must admit I lost my motivation in making the 3D Jacen. It just asks so much time and I’m just a begginnner. I prefer focussing on the other Njo art I’m working on at the moment. I think I’ve not touch the 3D model since I posted renderings of it here. JediBettyBug18 -- I’m pleased that you liked my coloring, there are more coming I actually got a new thing for y’all: See full version It’s an art of the Young Jedi Knights from the New Jedi Order Era (from left to right : Tahiri, Jaina, Jacen, Tenel Ka). I would situate it just before the Myrk mission I created it using morphing to create the faces + photoshop editing/painting for the rest (hair, body, background, and fixing of some defaults from the morping...) . It's still work in progress... and pretty unfinished, it needs polishing and I will probably ad more characters (Zekk, Anakin, and maybe Lowbaka, Alema and Raynar). Since I couldn't show it the way it was, I just added a cheap photoshop painting-looking effect. This way you can have a preview of it without having a clear view at the real thing yet. And the effect hides some default that I should fix soon. I actually tryied to have them looking like the ones from the japanese covers of the new jedi order. As for Tenel Ka who have not been pictured on them, I tryed to keep her as close as the one from the covers of the Young Jedi Knight books (cause I didn't like the way she looks on the Tempest cover) I’ve got more coming soon : A coloring of FalcoFan’s Tenel Ka/Jacen Art (I’ve been working on it for a moment but I can promiss you it’ll be worth the wait), a real life jaina created with morphing, A Jacen from legacy era (I mean one looking like the jacen we all know from the japanese cover of the NJO unlike the one on the cover art of the US Betrayal book), a legacy era Tenel Ka too.... It’s just that I’m working on all these at the same time, that’s why I don’t go fast.

	This looks very cool, Saith! I like the richness to it--very saturated colors--and I especially like TK (she really looks pretty!); a very nice job! I know there are a lot of Zekk and Alema fans who would welcome their addition to this, but maybe you could do a companion piece (sort of like two halves of a book cover) with them, rather than try to squish them into this one--that way, you could include all the YJK without dimishing anyone.
