Hi everyone. My old thread has been deprecated (I've been away too long again), which may be all for the best since the links in the old one don't work anymore.
It's been a while since I've worked on SW, but here's my latest ciompletion (a few yrs in the works!) I first posted this in one of the original Fan Art Challenges eons ago. It's been a fave of mine since I did it, and wanted to put color and a background to it.
We now know how Vader was born, but before Episode 3, we all had ideas of how he came to be in the armor. This was my idea, playing on the notion that Anakin was a tinkerer.

Good to see you back, Cheveyo.
I think it looks great. Nice use of a restricted colour palette - the red and black make it very atmospheric.

Vader ain't afraid to do touchups on himself, eh? He must have guts to be able to look at his own face (the helmet) for such long intervals. Hm, one thing I noticed is that his hands look really small compared to his head.
