The Official Fan Art Challenge - Announcement 12/1

Welcome to the Offical Fan Art Challenge! Each month, a single subject or category from the Star Wars universe will be chosen for artists of all skill levels to interpret. A wide range of media will be accepted including, but not limited to, graphite/ink drawings, paintings, photo-manips, digitial paintings/drawings, collages and posters. It's really whatever you're inspired to do. Be creative! If the subject is a TIE Fighter, don't just draw a TIE Fighter, try to incorporate it into a scene that's interesting. Or perhaps you would rather take the Alliance's view on the TIE. The possibilities are endless!
*NEW*
As an extra twist, the Challenge will now be considered as a contest or a game. At the end of each quarter(Fall;September-November, Winter;December-February, Spring;March-May, Summer;June-August), all pieces of artwork submitted during that particular time period will be up for nomination for the "Art Challenge Fan Favorite Award." If your artwork makes it through the nomination process and wins the final vote, you will be awarded colors of your choosing and a title for a week to sport around the entire JC. Some Guidelines to Follow:
Please post your images in this thread so we can have them all collected in one area, but of course you're also allowed to post them in your own artwork threads.
You can submit fanart for one topic, or do all of them. It is up to you.
Comments for everyone's artwork should also be posted in this thread. Even if you're not participating yourself, your comments are more than welcome.
Everyone is welcomed to post responses to this thread regardless of whether you post in the Fan Art forum or not. Please don't be nervous or discouraged. We would all love to see your work!
If you have suggestions for future topics, please PM them to HanSolo29 or post them in this thread.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
Fan Art Challenge for November:
Misplaced Star Wars(very special thanks to GIMER for the idea and helping me put it all together!)
The idea of this challenge is to place something from Star Wars(a character or vehicle, for example) in another sci-fi universe. The number system will come into play once again for this challenge. Choose a number between 1-50 and PM me or post in this thread the number you choose. I will assign you a sci-fi film based on the number you give me. Your task is then to choose any Star Wars character or vehicle you wish and place them in the corresponding film, using environments, characters, scenes, etc. It's up to you. Be creative! Each number can only be used once and will be removed from the list when it is chosen. However, you are allowed to do as many numbers as you like. Here is the list of numbers still available:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50

Now I'm thinking maybe I should've included movie characters as well, but meh. That's an idea for another time I guess. 
EDIT: Unless I do 50 movie characters and 50 EU characters and everyone chooses a number from each...

I agree with that, it'll be fun and hopefully there'll be enough time to complete.
This pick a number thing is a good idea, maybe you should have these and a theme for each time.

Perhaps...
Jedi, Dark Jedi, Sith, Cultist, Planet, Soldier, Scientist, Smuggler, Starship, Starfighter, Droid, Creature, Building... EU Males/Movie Males, EU Women/Movie Women... or maybe by colour that should be prominent in a scene, or an object that should be included... specific mood even... or something like that. Just tossing out some ideas

Hello! Here's my Borsk Fey'lya! I think this was a great idea for a Challenge! 
I used a reference photo, but I liked the tunic/coat he was pictured in, so I kept that only changing the colors and I added a background. All Prismacolors/graphite on sketchbook paper. I see him as a cross between a humanoid camel and a kangaroo--a camelroo! lol I know he's a Bothan, but when I looked up references, that's just what I thought.
