DVD Audio Ripper?
|
Hey everyone!
I'm in a production of Star Wars Episode III, in 2006.
I need the audio of the characters voices on a CD.
Do I need a certain program to rip off the voices?
Or, is this impossible to do?
Thanks in advance!

You don't need anything special. Almost any audio recording program will have a setting that lets you capture whatever is supposed to be coming out of your speakers. Basically it's recording what the sound card is emitting. Just pop your DVD into a DVD-ROM drive, and play the DVD while the recording program is recording. That's it.

Do you have a specific program for that? I don't believe my computer is capable of that without a program.

ANY audio recorder, even Sound Recorder, that comes standard with Windows, should be able to do it. Just check your settings.

Depends on the program, but it should have something for "input," and you want it to be sound card, sound board, something like that. Not microphone.

To record using sound recorder open up your volume control and then go to properties. After doing that look for a button that says Recording press it and then hit OK after that just make sure stereo mix is selected and you'll be able to record. =)
