Wow, that's summer to you? O_o That's like spring to me. Summer's like 75 at 7 am.
Hey newbie girl who I don't quite know what to call yet. What part of the south are you in?
Lol, you can just call me by my username, if you'd like. I'm from northern Texas. And I can relate to waking up to 75 degree weather. Actually, I once remember waking up to 80+ degrees - I'm glad that doesn't happen often.

Okay, how about Gonny? And ahh, you're not from the South, you're from Texas. They're distinct regions. And I've woken up to 80+ a few times every year.

Well, after a nice heat wave, we're back into the 50's for next week. That's fine with me as long as the school adjusts its climate control accordingly.
I'm packing to go home for the summer, and I don't know how I ever accumulated so much junk! I think I have twice as many books now as when I got here, and I didn't buy that many while here. And all the clothing. And the dead plants, alive fish, loose paper... this is going to be really hard to move out.

I don't think I slept for more then an hour without waking up last night. I fell asleep around 2, woke up around 7:30 and finally gave up trying to go back to sleep at 8.

I hate nights like that! At least you got some sleep though. It's better than not being able to sleep at all.

Yeah, but I don't think I got enough sleep. I just walked with my friend to D & D so she could get a bagel, and I literally had to keep slapping myself to stay awake. Now I have music blaring so I can at least stay awake to go through all my emails.

Dunkin Donuts. I've already had a glass of iced coffee today... If I have much more I'll still be tired but really shaky.

I have no idea. Now I'm talking to a friend, have music blaring and doing about ten different things on the computer to keep my mind awake and active. It's kinda working.

NAME: misssolo, or just Amelia if you want
AGE: 15, 16 on May 12th
FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH SW: I think I was about 4. My dad was always really into Star Wars, and I idolized him when I was little, so I decided to be into it too. Now, at 15, I'm hooked again.
FIRST FANFIC WRITTEN AT: Age 12. It was this massive, horrible, novel-length monster of a story based in this anime I used to be obcessed with, Rurouni Kenshin.
FAV CHAR: It's an excrutiatingly close tie between Han and Mara Jade.
WHY?: I love Mara because, despite all the brainwashing and intense training they must've given her when she worked for the emperor, she is still so strong.
As for Han, he was my first favorite out of all of them, and I really just have a thing for "swashbucklers" or whatever you want to call them. To steal and mangle a quote, he has his moments. Not many of them, but he does have them.
EVER WRITTEN IN THE OT?: Written, yes. Posted, absolutely not.
PT?: Not really.

Welcome Amelia. I think I was the only member of my nuclear family to like Star Wars. Except my uncle who owned the original VHS copies and watched them on a trip to Gainesville.

I am the only one in my family who likes Star Wars. My parents don't even know how obsessed I am! They should, considering the amount of Star Wars books I own and that I'm in a science fiction and fantasy club as my primary extracurricular activity.
I just found out that I have to watch an hour-long movie to finish my biology final, and write a 500 word essay on the most boring lecture I've ever been to in my life, and put together a reasonable presentation for archaeology class tomorrow. I don't think I'll sleep tonight.
