Okay I have a question...and I am not really sure it has a definate answer or not but I want to hear some different ideas.
What does it mean to achieve complete oneness with the force? I know Anakin Solo did it in SBS and it was what basically killed him, who else has acheived it and what are the consequences both positive and negative?
It should be assumed that in the entire span of the Old Order, there were only three Jedi who achieved what could be called "Oneness": Obi Wan, Yoda, and Anakin. Qui Gon - we must assume - came the closest before teaching Yoda from beyond the grave. Before him, I suspect the answer is either nobody, or very, very few, from very, very long ago.
After Anakin Skywalker, I suspect only his namesake was sucessful, though I have little doubt that Luke will achieve it when he dies. (if he ever dies. Somebody KILL HIM already! Put him OUT OF HIS MISERY, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!)

I can't answer any of the above queries, I'm afraid; but I would be really grateful if anyone could give me just a rough idea of Asajj's age during the Clone Wars. Was she closer to Obi-Wan's age, or Anakin's?

I also believe he was losing tons of money on it as well. I can't recall if Lobot was still with him at that point.
That was 13 years post-ROTJ, right before he met Tendra.

Does anyone know the names of the Jedi on the Council when Qui-Gon was Dooku's padawan? One name (other than Yoda) would be most appreciated.

Well, according to Wookieepedia, her Jedi mentor/co-warlord crashed on Rattatak sometime between 40-50BBY, and she was a little kid then. So... mid-twenties to mid-thirties?

As far as we know, did Count Dooku ever visit Asajj Ventress's fortress on Rattatak during the course of the Clone Wars? More importantly, did he know of Obi-Wan's imprisonment after the Battle of Jabiim? Was he aware of it, or did Asajj somehow try to hide it from him for whatever reason?
edit Additionally, how much did Asajj know about Darth Sidious? Did she know things like his identity as Palpatine and so on; or did she know only as much as the Jedi did--that Sidious was the Sith Master to Dooku?
Asajj did not tell Dooku that she had Obi-Wan (otherwise it would have turned out very differently). She was trying to break him first because she thought Dooku wanted him as an apprentice more than he wanted her (probably right...). I suspect she was in serious, serious trouble with Dooku once he escaped.
Unknown if he ever visited her fortress.
Asajj knew Darth Sidious was a Sith Lord and Dooku's master. She saw him as a hologram. So she knows slightly more than the Jedi but not the Palpatine thing.
Edit: As for age, somewhat older than Anakin but younger than Obi-Wan is probably the best guess.

Approximately how long before the NJO era did the Yuuzhan Vong make a mess of their own galaxy and start heading out for other ones?
I'm kicking around an idea about a completely different galaxy that they conquered, one that had humans in it (I'll work out the story of how they and the GFFA humans had the same origin, whether one is an offshoot of the other or they're both offshoots of something else). And this would have been BEFORE the NJO... long, long before - and now, millennia later, the remnants of those worlds are trying to warn others.
But I don't know how long of a time frame I'd be working with, and that will definitely influence how culture, technology, genetics, etc. change in the in-between period.

There were mentions of Vong infiltration into the galaxy 50 years before the NJO (Dark Tide 1), plus the whole Vergere thing 3 years post-TPM.

Hate to change the subject here, and I don't know if this is the right place for this kind of question, but I am wondering what do I do to attract more readers to my story? Anyone have any ideas?
I mean, I'm active in several community boards, and I read other fanfics and always leave comments. The few that do read my stories I go out and read their stories and leave comments whenever possible. I just feel that there is a barrier that I can't break through that people only read their friend's works. It seems to be a very difficult task to make those friends.
Maybe I am not titleing the stories correctly? I would love to hear some solutions.

Hi mrjop2 - I remember a thread a little while ago that dealt with exactly this issue. One moment while I dig around...
No, really, how do you get people to read your fics?
It went for a good few pages and I remember finding alot of the advice and opinions in there quite interesting. Alot of things you'll already know but it could help out
