	I'm thinking about writing a story set a long time ago in Hapan history. The thing is I don't know enough about the history of Hapes to do so. I do know that Hapes was settled by pirates but that's about it. Can anybody give me more information regarding the history of Hapes? Especially when the pirates' captives took control? 	As far as I know, virtually nothing is written about that time period in established SWu histroy. 	On p. 38 of CoPL it says the queen mothers have been ruling Hapes for thousands of years, and before that, the pirates existed for hundreds. But there are no set numbers. 	Here's a condensed version of Hapan history that I found at this website: The Hapes cluster of sixty-three stars with sixty-three inhabited planets, for over three thousand years the Hapes Consortium has very little contact with the rest of the galaxy. The cluster was first taken over by the Lorell Raiders, a group of pirates, who seized all the woman and forces the men into serving as pirates. The cluster stayed the same for thousands of years, the from the area continues to work as pirates until they there eliminated by the Jedi Knights. It was during this time the women then took control of their cluster, and the inherited leadership title of Queen Mother began. Which still continues to date. And in case you also want to write about the economy of Hapes, here's some more information: The Hapes Cluster principal income is from ship building, constructing many ships including the Battle Dragon, and Nova-class Battle Cruiser. Constructions of the ships happens on the twin planets of Charubah and Olanjii. Charabah is main manufacturing planet in the cluster, producing ships and the feared Hapan cyborgs. Olanjii is located next to Charubah, a planet devoted to technology and production. Together the planets form the home base for Olanjii/Charubah manufacturers, which is famed for it's engineering corp, factories, and shipyards, among others. And some info about the Hapan Royal Family: For centuries now the Queen Mother of the Hapes Consortium, has ruled, from the Fountain Palace on Hapes. With a safe house at the Reef Fortress, hidden on an island in the Hapen ocean deep within the cliffs known as the Dragon's Teeth. On rare occasions when the Royal family chose to travel the Queen Mother uses the Star Home a luxurious spaceship which was commissioned by the first Queen Mother. For many years the Royal Family closed the borders of the Hapes Cluster, until Queen Mother Ta'a Chume, propose that her son and heir marry Princess Leia, of the New Republic to form an Alliance between the two consortiums, and for Leia to marry Prince Isolder therefore becoming the next Queen Mother.
