	I'm looking for a fic I read a really long time ago, it was long and AU. In it, Anakin had not turned but raised Luke as a Jedi. He, Luke, and their buddy Han Solo come to Alderaan on a mission and come into contact with Padme (married to Bail?), Leia, and company. Obi-Wan and his apprentice Mara Jade show up, and eventually the canon pairs come together and Anakin takes out Palpatine. Does anyone remember this fic or know where it is? 	Looking for a fic a read awhile ago on FanFiction.Net, but I haven't been able to find it again. It started during ROTS. Either Anakin turned to the Dark Side and the somehow went to the light again or he never turned in the first place. Luke and Leia were born, and somehomw Sidious manages to get Liea. When Anakin shows up to rescue her Sidious makes him use force lightning on him to prove he's really on his side. Sometime later in the fic I think Anakin take Padme's family hostage, without knowing who they were, and then is later arrested for it and kept in a prison on Hoth I think(not sure about that) and he just stops eating. He is then shipped to Courascant(Sp?) to be executed I think, but Obi-Wan reacues him and switches him with a Clone of Anakin. It takes Anakin a while to recover after that cause he went so long without eating, but when he does he and Obi-Wan go and kill Sidious. Then there's another one I just thought of I've been looking for, but I can only remember like one part of it so it may not be able to be found. I think this part is twords the end of it. Instead of killing Master Windu and saving Sidious he helps Master Windu, and during the duel Windu gets nocked aside so its just Anakin and Sidious, but Sidious manages to stab his light saber threw Anakin's chest, Anakin after that see Windu come up with behind Sidious with his lightsaber pointed twords him so Anakin pushes Sidious on to Windu's saber and kills him. As for something that won awards - you could try the Official Fan fiction Index. If you scroll down, there's a complete listing (links included) done by era... you might be able to find it there. 	Hi all, I'm looking for fic recs with the central theme of Qui-Gon surviving TPM -- as in, fics that deal with that immediate aftermath (or the near future). I know it has the potential to be a large can of fanfic worms, but really I'm just looking for ones that deal with his immediate survival and how that plays out in his relationship with Obi-Wan. Know any good recs? 	Not for me, but reposting this here in proper thread. I'm trying to find a story that was written and posted here a few years back, back when Fan Fiction was just splitting itself up into the various eras. Anywho... details. I believe the title is "Elementary my dear Obi-Wan". I dont remember who wrote it but it was about Obi-Wan Kenobi and (either Qui-Gon or Anakin) end up on Earth in 19th Century London. It is a crossover with Sherlock Holmes and it was a very well written story and quite popular too. I think the author had first begun writing it in the Classic "Reply Only" forum but when the split happened she/he moved it over to one of the new era forums and finished it there. If anyone could provide a link to this story it would be much appreciated! And before you say it, yes I have tried to use the Search engine on here and all I get is Robert Downey Jr's new film on Holmes or absolutely nothing at all. -----signature----- "Say it with me now. 	That was the story, in Before, by Frostfyre7 (listed that way on FF.net, anyway) and it WAS posted here - even was story of the month. I'll look for the link and edit. 	I'm trying to remember a story I read here a few months ago. It was in Beyond the Saga, and I hardly ever read there, so the characters are somewhat unfamiliar to me, so bear with me as I try to remember. Jacen was the big bad guy. Tahiri (I think it was her) was working for him, and had come across an old friend who was with the good guys. She got trapped in a room with him, and the bad guys left her behind, so she had to stay with the good guys or risk going back to the bad guys and have them think she was betraying them, or something along those lines. That was a small part of the story, but the clearest thing I can remember. The story alternated points of view between the characters. I think the story had been updated in February at one point, but had been posted through most of last year; I remember the thread was several pages long. -----signature----- A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away ... 	I'm a long time fan but i didn't follow the rules and save that great story and forgot where the i found an amazing fic. I remember a lot about it so i'll post the parts I can remember. I hope someone can help me here. 1: Luke taken in by Vader at a young age 2: Raised on Executor to keep him safe and away from Palpatine 3: Has insane training schedule designed by Palpatine(maybe?) so that if he fails he has to go back to and be with Palpatine 4: Mara is sent to be with Luke 5: luke grows up as an imperial operative and eventual commander with Rebel sympathies 6: falls in love with Mara 7: cuts of his own hand (luke) after he snaps the bones in a couple pilots (all of them) 8: Vader and Luke cut out and rescue Padme from a desert prison planet... 9: Meet up with Yoda and Vader heals 10: join up with Rebels w/luke hiding in Shuttle 11: luke runs off to rescue Mara 12: family runs of to rescue luke... Thats all i can remember, any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
