	No worries. I've tried to search here and ff.net but I still can't find: Tank Boma and the Rise of the New Sith. It has Tank and Biggs, Luke's friends, and Biggs evidently survives so it appears to be a semi AU for ANH. Any ideas welcome. 	ok... well does anyone have some advice for where to look for my story? i haven't been able to find it through FF.net or Google. I think it might be in the old board but i'm not having any luck.

	What name is the story under? Go to that profile and use the 'View Latest Posts' link. 	Thats my problem, i can't remember the story's name. The closest i can figure is that it came out after EP.1 and what i can remember from it. Also i remembered a few more things... 1: Luke taken in by Vader at a young age 2: Raised on Executor to keep him safe and away from Palpatine 3: Has insane training schedule designed by Palpatine(maybe?) so that if he fails he has to go back to and be with Palpatine 4: Mara is sent to be with Luke 5: luke grows up as an imperial operative and eventual commander with Rebel sympathies 6: falls in love with Mara 7: cuts of his own hand (luke) after he snaps the bones in a couple pilots (all of them) -: Luke and Vader fight Palpatine and kill "him" -: Luke and Vader raid his info stash and find out Padme is still alive 8: Vader and Luke cut out and rescue Padme from a desert prison planet... 9: Meet up with Yoda and Vader heals 10: join up with Rebels w/luke hiding in Shuttle -: Palpatine still alive 11: luke runs off to rescue Mara -: Final Conflict on tatooine -:Family Faces off with clone Vader 12: family runs of to rescue luke...

	Rel: oh, i think a few of us misunderstood you. It's not a fic you wrote then, earlier you had said "my story". The story sounds familiar but i can't quite grasp it. Did it happen to go higher than pg-13 at certain points in the story or at least give an impression of a scene that would go beyond that? The reason i ask is that i think there was a scene in that story where luke and mara were in a ballroom and the emperor and other guests were there. 	Dooku-Darklighter: I know the author you're looking for. It's Mina, who also wrote "About Turn" (one of my faves!) I'm not sure if any of her stuff is posted here, but I know she does have a website with all of her stories. It also contains slash stories, so I will PM you the link. A find, and then a request, the way to go, eh? I've been playing with the search engine 'lazy' and have had mucho fun with it. I've had no luck with this premise, however ... introducing 'alien' into the search gets me the movie Alien ... here goes ... We just think of Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon and Anakin as Earth-type humans, but is there a story or two with any of those three (or all, or two) as a subspecies or near-human, perhaps with an extra talent or drawback (maybe like a weakness like Kryptonite?) that comes out in crisis or illness?
