Hmmmm...good question...I tend to like writing them when they are older, during the war. But it all depends on what kind of tone I want the story to be.

Hello everybody! I thought I would just pop in on this thread and say hi!  I've got a major Siriwan plot bunny stirring inside my head and I'm going to start on it in the next little while. I want to get a little farther along on my current story. I don't know if I can keep two stories going at the same time. I know others do it and do it very well--I'm trying to decide if I can do it.  I do know that they will be 19 and 18 and that their loyalty to the Jedi and to themselves will be tested. That's about all I can say without giving away too much.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to starting this story as well as getting to know some fellow Siriwan fans!

I know this might be a bit off for this thread but I was thinking. Maybe Lucas or somebody should make a star wars animated or live action tv show about how obi-wan came to be a jedi. Like Watson's books. They could have all the characters from obi-wan's childhood like siri (maybe a few epiodes containing their feelings for each other). It would be great to see qui-gon and obi-wan on missions together.

That would be nice but I couldnt stand anyone but ewan as obi-wan.
I think siri has gotten all the EU time she is going to get except possibly some Ferus flashbacks.
Maybe we could lobby watson for some of those.

I also cant see anyone else other than Ewan as young Obi Wan, so a live action of this would be odd for me if he wasnt involved.

For a young Padawan Siri I'd say the girl from the new Willy Wanka movie who played Violet...and for a teenager Siri I'd say Hayden Panettiere who is the cheerleader in "Heros"

I think a better question would be, who wouldn't have fun? She's a great character! Just wish she could have lived. Imagine how things might have been different.

I hate how they killed Siri off like that, and left absolutely no room for wondering. It was like, "They liked eachother, but they decided to remain 'just' friends. Then they give into their feelings, and BANG, she dies." It's pretty much a black and white this is what happened and nothing else thing. *grrr* It leaves nothing to be imagined, so all the Siri-Wan fanfiction has to be AU.
