	Are you allowed to use their names in the fic other than in speaking? Meaning like Jaina did this and Jag did that?

The only things in this story that are mine are Nawra, Adannah Skywalker, and any progeny of the Solo twins. Notes: This is what happens when two hobbies--fanfic and scrapbooking--collide. The image at the top of each post is a holo from the Fel family album and the subject of discussion for the post. This month’s interview is with the wonderful FelsGoddess!!! What inspired you to write your first fanfiction? What was it about? I wrote my first fan fiction after eight grade. I had been searching online for something, I don't remember what, and found Han and Leia fan fiction. I was intrigued. Before I knew it, I was addicted. I had so many sites bookmarked. I finally started writing my own. All of my old stuff is Han and Leia. They are in a binder in my room where nobody can read them. My first story took place during the Courtship of Princess Leia. It was not very good at all. Why do you choose to post your stories at TFN as opposed to other sites? I am addicted to feedback, basically. I first posted on fanfiction.net, but those stories get pushed back so fast, I didn't hear anything. I love that I can receive feedback and help if I need it. Plus, here I can post some wild out there fic. You recently finished The Galaxy According to Jaina, a compilation of Journal entries by Jaina. How did you get into her head? I started rereading the New Jedi Order mainly because my younger brother was reading it and had questions. I couldn't remember all the details. I was about half way through Vector Prime and thought that following Jaina through the series would be a great fic. I had noticed how far off I was when writing Jaina. For the next several months, I went book by book marking every page that had something to do with Jaina. Being around Jaina's age also helped me relate to her. I wanted to stay as close to character as possible. I thought about each post before I wrote it. I put a lot of work into it. In my opinion, its the best fic I've ever written. It helped me write Jaina more accurately. What's your current works in progress? What should we be looking for? I have five works in progress right now. Meet Me in the Garden and Survival are AU Anakin and Padme. TIll Death Do Us Part is an Obi-Wan/Leia fic. That one is definitly going to be an adventure. I think its going to surprise readers quite a bit. As for J/J, Forgotten Daughter is going to have a big twist. There are several mother/daughter issues that I want to deal with between Leia and Jaina. As for Beautiful Disaster, be ready for some huge plot twists! I see you write quite a bit in Saga. What's your favorite era? I am a Beyond girl. I started out there. I think there is more freedom for creativity in Beyond than Saga. As of late, I've been wanting to write plots that are more out there and original than the normal Vong war or Anakin doesn't turn fics. There's nothing wrong with those, but sometimes readers need something new. How do you feel about the direction the EU is going? And do you think that will affect your fanfic writing? I am not a fan of the direction EU is going in. I have always been a huge EU fan. It seems to me like there was so much left unsaid after the Unifying Force. The very first thing I thought about the Joiner King was why a five year jump? I really wanted to see the rebuilding and recovery. It seems to me like the authors created this huge crisis and didn't know how to deal with it. Except for Han and Leia, everyone seems so out of character. Of course, the whole Jaina and Jag debacle annoys me. Do we really need another Luke/Mara situation? Now that I know that they didn't stay together after the war, I've wanted to right more situations were they do. Call it wishful thinking, I suppose. Who's your favorite EU author? Oh jeez, that's a hard one. I like Timothy Zahn, but Aaron Allston is great too. I don't think I can pick just one. Each author writes different characters and situations so differently. I love how Troy Denning writes Han/Leia and the way Shane Dix and Sean Williams wrote Jag. I thought Elaine Cunningham did an amazing job with Jaina's fall. I could say something about every author, I think. What's one Jaina moment in the EU you would like to do differently? And how would you have done it? The bug ordeal. That does not fit her character at all. It’s so far off. I can see Jaina wanting to help, but not becoming a Joiner. I see Jaina working more with the military. Of course, I would add my favorite Chiss Colonel in the mix. How about giving us insight into something your readers don't know about one of your stories? Part of Forgotten Daughter I have been tossing around for years. I had always thought about when Han and Leia traveled to Bespin what had happened. A child was just something I thougt would fit. I could see Leia having to give up the child and wishing for her return. I just never got around to writing it. We have three new additions to our Fan Art section!! By Cow_T_Fett By Great_One This month we actually have a review! Title: Conduit Author: Trepidation Summary: Jaina is pregnant with Jag’s baby, and happy with her life. However, her actions on Hapes still haunt her, and it will take the help of a friend to get over it. Review: Jag was really only in the story at the beginning and the end, but it was obvious that he and Jaina were very much in love. Trep created a great OC in Sha, Jaina’s friend. The plot is interesting, and brings the meaning of family and love to heart. It was very well-written, though a bit drawn-out, but the conclusion was sweet and delightful. All-around a very well-written story. Reviewer: NYCitygurl We have a new reviewer! oldjedinurse has agreed to start reviewing fics in January.
