After I finish this essay, I never want to hear the words "lamprey" or "hagfish" again. I'm getting sick of slimy eel-like jawless things that are really not that closely related.
Well, at least all this time spent doing homework gives me time to do my laundry.

In good news: I now have all my new text books.
In bad news: I've just found out that I've failed a module. I can't say I'm too surprised, it's the module that we didn't have any lectures or any taught sessions for. I'm going to complain to someone about this, it'd help if I knew who.

My marks for last semester:
ADVANCED PROGRAMMING AND DATA STRUCTURES - 40%
DATABASES 20 - 28%
SOFTWARE ENGINEERING - AN INTRODUCTION - 61%
So yeah, I do quite well in Software Engineering, not as well as I would have like, but it's still a 2:1 so it's not bad. Advanced Programming is a pass, Databases is a fail. Overall average is 43% for the first semester.

Spring break! I didn't think I'd make it.
Of course, now that I actually don't have to rush to get something done, I'm not quite sure what to do with myself. Friday after class I slept until I was hungry, and then I only managed to stay up a couple of hours after eating before I decided it was time for bed. Saturday I spent all day playing computer games/writing/reading (mmm, Terry Pratchett! Men at Arms has been sitting on my shelf waiting to be read for months), and now that it's Sunday I don't know what to do with myself, haha. 
(I have to be in town this week for something with my scholarship, so I don't even get to see my family until this weekend. Bah.)

I have five more days until Spring Break, which I am going to spend sleeping and doing absolutely nothing productive whatsoever. But first I have to survive more midterms than I thought were humanly possible. Is anyone else here dying from too many midterms, too much caffeine, and not enough sleep?
