Brain: Now, Pinky, if by any chance you are captured during this mission, remember you are Gunther Heindriksen from Appenzell. You moved to Grindelwald to drive the cog train to Murren. Can you repeat that?
Pinky: Mmmm, no, Brain, don't think I can.

I'm an hour south of obi_ewan (when I drive), so that would be south of buttcrack, USA. Just north of Wichita, KS. Actually got to meet her evilness last weekend! It was great! tongue

My little brother is in Brooklyn too, Jade!

OMG!! I thought I was the only one rotting in the UP! I am in Marquette at NMU! I mean widow_skywalker is at NMU! That is fricking awesome!

Sweet magnificant crap! You're only a hundred miles from me. Small world after all. Where are you from originally? I bet it was a bit of an adjustment to come up to NMU. happy

I lived in Davenport, IA and was born in Milwaukee, WI. Its more than an adjustment. Its culture shock to say the least.

*high fives Nienna* We are definately in a rebuilding year football wise. Though the last two years we were pretty good. True fans always support their teams even if they shake their heads at them and cover their eyes when they are doing horribly.

Powerless? Too bad, TKL. As long as power is your only problem this hurricane season!

Can't have only one Canadian in this thread grin I was born and raised in, and still live near, Toronto. Home of new INXS front man, J.D. Woohoo!

I also lived two miles north of the Washington State/British Columbia border for a couple of years, and I know what all you people in Indiana are talking about. I was an honorary Hoosier for several years, living near Fort Wayne.

I'd imagine so. I've been born and raised here so I've never known anything else but the icy confines of this peninsula. sad But I don't know of anywhere else I'd rather be. tongue

Yeah, it's a rough life, but someone's got to live it. I spend a good portion of my summers up there, around the Porcupines.

If there's one thing I don't like about up here (besides the cold and snow) is the isolation. That has its positives and negatives, though, I suppose.

/\I love the UP. I go up to Cedarville with my InterVarsity chapter every summer, and it's gorgeous. Some of my favourite pictures are from up there. Almost went to school even further north, in Houghton. I like my corner of Michigan well enough, though. I'm actually pretty close to Exeter, too. tongue

I am going insane from the isolation. And the lack of SW-related activities, besides the internet. I cannot wait until Christmas break to go home and work in my Hot Topic as just an associate, and cuddle my kitties, and kick back at the local Brew and View with some indie cinema, local punk/metalcore/emo/jazz bands. *Wow, now I really miss the QC*

You should've gone to Houghton at MTU. wink You'd be ten miles from me.
