Greetings fellow travelers of the mighty Star Wars Universe!

When I first saw ROTJ when I was but four years of age, some of the greatest things I loved about the story, besides lightsabers, x-wings, and Vader, were all the locations in which the action was taking place.

Since I’ve been writing fan fiction, I have come to enjoy creating new systems, planets, and cities which can give birth to the great stories we all know and love.

From Kessel to Tatooine to everything way South of the Rishi Maze, George and all the great EU writers have already given us countless great locales to work with, but I want to hear what you, my fellow fanficcers, have come up with to enhance and spice up the Star Wars Universe.

Your contributions to this database can be in any format, and can be about any locale, no matter how big or small they may be, that you have come up with in your endeavors.

The purpose of this thread is to of course have fun, expand our horizons, and have a great database full of interesting planets and cities we can all use while writing our stories.

I hope this is fun for everyone, and I look forward to visiting every planet you post here!

Thank you very much to rhonderoo and all the other great mods for letting me start this!

Update!

All new World Builder Society ver 2.0 features a tour guide of OUR Star Wars Universe! As more and more star systems are added to this thread, they will also be catalogued right here on Page 1 so fellow travelers of the SWU can enjoy the exotic locales that you have created. Also, this will serve as a database for fanfic writers all over who wish to use these new, exciting planets in their stories. *Writers, please give credit to the creator of the planet you used in your stories, so we can all give credit where credit is due. Thanks!*

And coming soon, the World Builder Society Online Encyclopedia, which will provide, in as much detail as this overworked editor can give, all the information about specific people, traditions, products, and many other aspects of all your personally generated planets and systems. Stay tuned!

So without further ado, the fully alphabetized...

World Builder Society Tour Guide of the Stars

Aister - created by your friendly neighborhood JMT

All three planets in the Aister System are controlled by Emperor Drenton Aister VII, who is the 350th successor in the Aister Dynasty. Although only Aister II is rich in natural resources, the Aister family has made the entire system self-reliant by sharing resources and weaponry between the three worlds. In fact, Aister has become such a formidable stronghold that neither the Empire nor the Alliance has had the ability to gain control of the system. It is fabled among Aisterian worlds that the pompous Emperor Drenton once spit on the foot of Darth Vader in defiance when Lord Vader ordered that Aister submit to Imperial rule. The claims have never been substantiated in the Imperial Archives, and are therefore considered to be false. Emperor Drenton still refuses to join the Empire, but he has become quite a paranoid ruler as a mysterious entity has killed all but two of his family members, signalling that the Aister Dynasty may finally be at its end.

System Specifications

Aister III

Aister I

Aister I is ruled by Redd Aister, Emperor Drenton's half-brother. The planet itself is a gas giant, and therefore unhabitable. However, the Aister family colonized Aister I's large moon hundreds of years ago, which they of course named Moon of Aister. From the Moon of Aister, the Aister Empire runs an emmense gas mining operation in the atmosphere of Aister I. The tibanna gas that is mined there is sent to Aister II, where it has many uses, including dramatically increasing the firepower of their weaponry.

Aister II

Aister II is the throneworld of Emperor Drenton Aister VII, and all of the decisions made for the Aister system are made directly by Emperor Drenton in his palace in the capital city of Aisteria. Aister I and Aister III are both devoid of the resources needed for survival, so the large planet of Aister II has to supply resources to the other worlds in the system. The planet is heavily fortified with many laser batteries and ion cannons. In addition, there are countless numbers of shield generators protecting the surface from orbital bombardment. The exact size of Drenton's army is unknown, although it is suspected that it is large enough to fend off any Imperial ground attack. The large moon of D'Aister holds a large spaceport which acts as a central hub between the planets.

Aister III

Terk Aister, Emperor Drenton's nephew, rules Aister III, which is nothing but a gigantic rock with a large asteroid belt circling it. However, the planet and the orbiting asteroids are filled with precious metals and spices. Commoners, the Aister System's lowest class of citizens, have longed been forced to mine the metals and the spices out of mines on both the planet and the asteroid belt. The work is highly dangerous, and hundreds of Commoners die each day doing their manual labor. Large atmospheric generators are used on the planet to make its air breathable, but many still die from the unbearably low temperatures. While mining a certain asteroid, portable atmospheric generators (which hardly work) are used, but breathing masks must still be worn or the workers will surely die in a short amount of time. Each asteroid is mined until it is completely void of all metals and spices.

Angharad - created by ophelia

System: Uhh . . . it doesn't have a name.

TARKIN: You would prefer another target? A military target? Then name the system!

ME: I told you, it doesn't have a name! Freaking slipper-wearing psycho!!

TARKIN: ::flings slipper::

ME: Aiiigh!!

Um . . . yeah. Actually, the Republic probably calls it by a number. Anghara civilization is about 95% pre-spaceflight, so they just think of it as "home." It doesn't need a name.

Location: Waaaay out on the Outer Rim, or even more "far, far away" than usual.

Details: Angharad was probably colonized by a generation ship millenia ago, before the invention of hyperspace travel. Its indigenous residents are all human, and are most likely all descended from the same 100 or so people who landed ages ago. They have not been eager to jump back into outer space again, and have lived as an essentially pre-spaceflight culture until relatively recent contact with the Republic. The planet has two moons, one larger and white, and the other smaller and red. Neither is nearly as big as Earth's moon. The larger one looks about as big as a pencil eraser when it's full. The smaller one looks like a really nice, bright Earth-view of Mars.

Climate: Variable. Much of Angharad's major continent is tropical or sub-tropical, and it has a dry season and a monsoon season. Tropical lowlands ring the seashore, but these give way to grassland-like foothills as you move further north. The majority of Angharad's population lives in small cities and villages along the many rivers that run through the foothills. Most of these rivers become tributaries to the mighty Omolac River, which winds Amazon-like through the southern rain forest and empties out into the Bay of Basham. Angharad's capitol, Kohana, is located in the Omolac river delta.

North of the foothills, the Akitlán Mountains--a series of massive, Himalaya-like peaks--cut the continent in two. The lower slopes of the mountains are lush cloud forest, called "the Spirit Country" by residents, who consider the land holy. Above the treeline there is only low scrub, and then nothing but bare rock and ice. During the monsoon season, warm, moist air comes north from the Bay of Basham, but the icy air of the Akitlán peaks wrings all the water vapor out before any moisture can reach the north face of the range. As a result, the northern part of the continent is desert--an unusual montaine desert called the Honovi. This desert flattens out into barren plains across the planet's temperate zones, and then freezes into rocky tundra near the polar region. The sharp climate change along the line of the mountains is visible from space, and is quite striking.

Population: There are fewer than a billion native Anghara on the planet. Most live in the warm, southern area of the main continent, especially in and around Kohana, but there are people who live high in the mountains, people who live in the northern wastes of the Honovi, people in various archipelagos stretching out into the ocean, and people who live in nomadic boat communities on the sea.

For the last 99 years, there have also been workers from the Coridani Mineral Company (CMC) mining stretches of the Honovi for irridium, a semi-organic compound used in starships' heat shielding.

Main Industry: See above. CMC has traditionally paid the government in Kohana for the right to mine its land. Once the company's 99-year exclusive charter ends, this could change, however . . .

Other than mining and an increasing amount of offworld trade, Angharad generally has an industrial/service economy in the large urban areas, and an agricultural one--mostly subsistance farming--elsewhere on the planet.

Context in which the planet appears: Angharad is the site of an ugly power grab by the Trade Federation in the years leading up to the Clone Wars. The planet is self-governing and has only treaty connections with the Republic, so it does not have the protection of the Republic's laws or peacekeeping forces. CMC, with Trade Federation backing, essentially decided just to steal the planet by wiping its residents out rather than allow their cherished trade monopoly to lapse.

Armis II - created by Kudzu

This anti-Imperial planet was still held by the Separatists months after the Mustafar Resolution that saw the Separatist Council executed by Darth Vader. The Star Destroyer Calvinia eventually arrived, cleansing the planet of most of its life with a neutron bombing executed by wings of V-19 Torrent ground attack fighters, before covert operations stormtroopers led by Commissar Straasha landed and eliminated the last survivors of the short-lived irradiation maneuver, leaving an abruptly killed world in their wake when the Calvinia departed, following the captured data hints towards yet another cell of Confederacy nationalists holed up somewhere else.

Asceplis - created by Kudzu

Orbited by several moons, the largest (Depudus) having a 6-kilometer-wide satellite of its own (Belemnos), the pelagic planet of Asceplis is a less frequented Expansion Region planet with a monarchy government. It was governed by King Asap III from about two years prior to the Battle of Naboo to around a year before the Battle of Coruscant, when a Separatist-supported coup by his cousin, Eicig, exiled him to a penal colony on Depudus. The colony was eventually liberated by the ARC Captain A-51. Details on the Battle of Asceplis forthcoming.

Bathari (pronounced ba-TAR-ee) - created by princess_melissa

System: Bathari

Location: Bathari is located in the mid rim. The nearest planet is Sullust which is approximately seven parsecs away.

Details: Bathari is the third of seven planets in a system sharing its name. Due to extreme climates on the other planets, it is the only inhabited world in the system.

Terrain: Mostly forest with several mountain ranges. There are three seas and multiple large lakes and rivers scattered throughout.

Climate: Moderate

Weather: Moderate

Population: Bathari is sparcely populated. Around one million sentient beings in all. Most of them live in the capital city, Oratoo, set in the Kein valley. The rest live either in cliff cities - set in the mountains - or in coastal towns.

Flora and Fauna: The planet is mostly covered in a forest of Otari trees. 10 meter tall trees that have adapted to grow very close together, sometimes no more than 20 cm between two plants. These forests are almost impossible to travel through by foot and force the local population to use air speeders to go above them. Because of the Otaris’ close proximity to each other, no light is able to reach to reach the forest floor leaving it barren of all other plants, though the forest canopy is a riotous ecology with many plants feeding their roots into the Otari themselves. Some varieties of seasonal flowering shrubs grow at the base of the mountains where the forests thin out.

Wildlife: Small, six legged climbing mammals that thrive in the Otari forests are most prominent. Their natural predator is a large bird of prey which nests in the mountain cliffs.

Days: 18 hours

Years: 315 Days

Major imports: Fresh water

Major exports: precious gems and metals mined in the mountains.

Crucio - created by Kudzu

This hospitable world rests on the outer edge of the Inner Rim. It became a particularly bloody field of battle during the brutal Clone Wars, twice the target of a dupe by Confederacy General Grievous. One such ruse was successful, luring the sector fleet to a feint by the Lucid Voice at Gallaghan and distracting them from the true Invisible Hand-led attack at Crucio, which took the system and saw 78,000 Crucian defense fleet personnel killed. Towards the end of the war, the Battle of Crucio gained the dubious honor of being the largest and most costly fleet engagement of the war until the Battle of Coruscant a handful of months later. The death of the infamous Lucid Voice happened here, destroyed by the all-clone Silver Group flight of ARC-170 starfighters and Jedi Master Rana-Morr, a Draethos of almost 700 years. Moments later, the Silvers and Rana-Morr found themselves caught in a swarm of Geonosian starfighters, cut off from Republic starship support by the drifting hulk of the disabled Lucid Voice, and were destroyed with all hands lost. Over a million personnel in total were dead by battle's end, although the Diamond Sickle Armada of Roron Corobb and the deceased Rana-Morr was ultimately victorious for the Republic. It incurred so many losses that it was disbanded and its ships scattered to various sector fleets across the Republic. Roron Corobb was later killed on Coruscant by General Grievous during the kidnapping of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, and Crucio went largely undisturbed until the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, during which it successfully repelled Peace Brigade raiders and rode out the alien incursion without falling to the savage enemy. It has slightly higher gravity and greater size than a standard world, with a diameter of about 16,800 kilometers.

Cyliis VII - created by Lady_Cora

System: Faerys

Location: The Faerys Star-System is located very close to the Sanctuary Pipeline, facing toward the Outer Rim. The closest inhabited planet is Riflor, located almost seven parsecs away from the System's edge.

Details: As its name suggests, Cyliis VII is the seventh and last planet in the Faerys System. It is the only inhabited one, seeing as the others are home to a variety of extreme climats and the first three, who are closest to the sun, are constantly bombarded with radiation, emanating from the very active pulsar star.

Climate: Cyliis VII has a very arid, dry climate. While it is not a desert planet, in the truest sense of the word, large sections of it are nothing than flat, salty, dry dustbeds. It has a two distinct seasons, a wet one and a dry one. (the wet one lasting a quarter of a revolution around the sun and the dry one, three quarters of a revolution)

Population: The planet has a very small number of inhabitants (around a figure 120.000 souls), most of them living in the clustered capital city of Tasuuan, which was built between two rocky mesas, for protection against the raging winds. A few brave people have built small mining outposts, across the planet, but they depend on Tasuuan for their survival, as the capital has the only existibg space-port.

Main Industry: In the Mid-Rim, there is a running joke that the only thing you can find in the Faerys System are bare rocks. That is true, to a certain extent, Cyliis VII's main (and only) industry being the mining of iron ore, which is shipped to Nubia or Coruscant, in order to be refined.

Context in which the planet appears: Thousands of years after the collapse of the Galactic Empire, the New Republic's historians are in a frezy to unearth all of the details that were permanently buried during that harrowing time. Their biggest dilemma remains the existance of the Jedi-Emperor, an unnamed monarch who ruled the Galaxy, during the Empire's most glorious days. As a consequence, Andrra Wrenn, one of the Republic's most succesful prospectors, along with her husband, Quar Wrenn, and Nisadora Renuo, the daughter of a friend, set out for Cyliis VII, where the trail of the mysterious Emperor appears to end, not knowing the tragedy that would unfold on the planet's dry surface...

Dakari Sector - created by oqidaun

The Dakari is located just inside the border of the Expansion Region along the Corellian Trade Spine and lies coreward of the Sanctuary Pipeline. Within the Dakari there are three systems of note: the Mandaus, Ladaus and Nordus (generally referred to as the Territories—a hotly contested region). Within the Dakari there are twenty-seven planets and thirty three moons. The hyperspace lanes to the Territories in the old Nordus system are referred to as the Mandakari Corridor or simply “the Corridor”. The Mandakari like to think of themselves as the center of the universe, despite being stuck in the middle of nowhere in the Expansion Region and consequentially everything in the Dakari is Mandakari-centric. The three systems are interconnected both culturally and politically. The suns are named for gods in the pantheon that all of the races in this sector share.

There are three dominate races/cultures: the Mandakari, Ladakari and Nordakari. Generally, all are humanoid and I’ve modeled some of the cultural characteristics on some earth based ethnic identities and histories.

The Mandakari are essentially the fascists. It’s a very hierarchical militaristic society, although unlike earth based fascism per se they are matriarchal. The Mandakari ruling class distinguishes itself from the rabble by virtue that they live longer (most survive an extra 50-75 years beyond the typical human life span). The ruling classes don’t come about this extended longevity honestly. It is an artificial enhancement. The highly stratified Mandakari society makes for a lot class conflict and internal tensions; however the ruling oligarchy has a tremendous amount of control and extensive secret police network.

The Ladakari are hybrids of some of my favorite cultural aspects of Irish and Yiddish culture (there’s a lot of me in the Ladakari). They are physically humanoids and in terms of a distinguishing characteristic have a ritually amputated pinkie finger (those of you who know my stories about Mazaricky No-Name have been introduced to this Ladakari peculiarity). The planets of the Ladaus system are connected via a commonwealth and ruled by a constitutional monarchy. The Ladakari aim to take over the Mandakari control of the “Corridor” and the section of the Corellian Trade Spine that forms the Dakari’s border.

The Nordakari are the fun ones to write. They appear human, but underneath the skin there are a lot of differences. Nordakari identify themselves as part of the Galaxy’s Mi’em or Millennial cultures (a designation given to those species that live naturally beyond five hundred standard years—I know millennial means a thousand, but there are few hard and fast categories in the universe). Every one else, according to the Nordakari, fall under the designation of being hoi-tau and for some Nordakari being around hoi-tau is an unsettling experience. The Nordakari originated on the planet of Nordakar, which had to be abandoned because of a natural disaster 15,000 years ago. They struck a bizarre deal with the Mandakari that essentially put them in charge of the Mandakari military and gave them a protector-servant status (the servant part wasn’t intended originally). The reason behind arrangement was the Nordakari numbers were low (they have basically a zero growth rate) and they chose to ally with group most likely to destroy them if they did not. The Nordakari get to play the Mandakari military like a big chess game, but over the past millennia have lost their equal standing with the Mandakari and become quite disillusioned. Rumors suggest that the Nine Houses (the secret ruling oligarchy of the Nordakari) are preparing to sever their ties with the Mandakari and claim the Territories as their own.

Politically, the big struggle is between the Ladakari and the Mandakari over control of the Territories. The Ladakari and Mandakari have been at war since the beginning of time when they shared a planet (the identity of the planet is disputed—Ladakari say it was in the Ladaus Sector and Mandakari say it was in the Mandaus sector). The two groups have used everything from old style hydrogen weapons, biochemical warfare to guerilla/terrorist campaigns to eradicate each other. Subsequently, the Galactic Senate spends a lot of time slamming the sector with sanctions, travel advisories and demands for mediated armistice. During the Clone Wars the Dakari (both Ladakari and Mandakari) follow the Corellian lead and declare neutrality (the Corellians being their only diplomatic defenders in the Senate and major trade partner).

Doolamar - created by Kudzu

Located in the Mid Rim, Doolamar is a backwater world, completely uninteresting and bland, with varied but generally unremarkable landscape. Its cities include Hubbadoo, the secondary spaceport city as of the Battle of Geonosis; Harbidge, Doolamar's only tourist attraction, built around a small geyser that seems to be the extent of Doolamar's geothermal activity; and Dellattin, Doolamar's capitol city and main spaceport until General Grievous personally conquered the system during the Clone Wars (it had previously been the site of a skirmish between forces under High General Coleman Kcaj and local terrorist forces sympathetic to the Confederacy of Independent Systems, a Republic victory) and had it transformed into a crater by heavy orbital bombardment on a savage whim. Over two million perished in the fiery bombardment, which being the only significant event occurring in the Doolannaroo system, ended up getting a strong alcoholic beverage named after it, among other things. Commodore Brann Haeliz, a freakish alien crossbreed of Chiss and Kiffar, was given jurisdiction over the system until a month after the Battle of Coruscant when Imperial cruisers arrived and chased his occupation force away. Mara Jade was dispatched here twice on assassination missions as the Emperor's Hand and developed a relationship with a local boy. Shortly before the Koornacht Crisis, she returned to find her teenage flame long-dead of suicide, her last Doolamarian assassination target of many years prior having been his fiancee. Although Jade attempted to drown her sorrows in alcohol, she was rescued by Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, arrived from the neighboring world of Bul Phop, and guided back onto a path of recovery.

Durcust - created by 1Yodimus_Prime

Location: Just outside the Hydian Way, facing the Quelli Sector

Details: A moonless planet, it was settled just under twenty thousand years ago. The settlers, all of whom were citizens of the newly formed Galactic Republic, were mostly miners in search of bountiful mineral veins. Durcust did not dissapoint, though the hard rocky surfaced meant the labor would be difficult, thus keeping its export economy from booming. Its society - primarily human - spent a majority of the following millenia rising up the economic ladder. By the time of the prequel era, it had managed to become a middle class planet, complete with two decently sized cities and its own military. The clone wars, and the following emperial rule, worked against this progress. One of the cities was entirely abandoned, the other was downsized - its suburbs torn down and many of the high class hotels boarded up. Many of the mines that had been closed due to their vicinity to highly populated areas were reopened out of necessity. Since the fall of the Empire, the planet has been trying out various stunts to promote tourism and investment.

It is broken up into three States:
Durcustia covers seventy-five percent of the planet's dry land, and is responsible for one-hundred percent of all solid mineral exports.
Cullid is the Democratically run State surrounded on three sides by Durcustia. Along with containing the planet's only running city, Cullid is the only country that exports the tiny amount of Tibanna gases produced in pockets between Durcust's crust and mantel.
Vullid, located on a very big island near the South Pole, is the anarchic State where nearly all retired miners move to, assuming they live that long. Many non-miners also move there, usually young thrill-seekers eyeing the frozen mountains and icy rapids.

Dynetheus - created by Sith-I-5

Insectoid race, possibly the Cacanadas, just so standard humans, lazy when it comes to language, would refer to them as 'Nads'.

Great cystalline cities, created using some secretion from the Cacanadas, which hardens on contact with air. I'm not in the habit of plaguirism, so I'm reasonably certain that I came up with my lot before that planet with the Wind Chimes (where Ackbar's sabotaged B-Wing crashed) got created. The two types of architecture seem very similar.

Execer - created by Kudzu

A 10,100-kilometer-diameter world with a mantle of uranium, Execer's potent radioactivity could waste the average humanoid in minutes even from orbit. A Separatist communications station, manned entirely by droids, was established to relay messages between General Grievous and the Lucid Voice, a decoy for his flagship Invisible Hand during the Clone Wars. The Republic commandos of Gamma Squad were sent, wearing Katarn-class armor capable of staving off the intense radiation for hours at a time, to destroy the facility and capture logs of messages it had relayed. Although the mission was ultimately successful, one of the commandos died when, cornered by droids about to shoot down his comrades' escaping gunboat, he fired a blaster bolt into one of the weird spires of almost pure uranium extending up through the planet's dead crust out of the mantle. The resulting chain reaction caused an explosion that blew about thirty square kilometers of Execer away.

Exiu System - created by Rogue_Pilot_2347

Location: Just inside the Corporate Sector. I guess that puts it either Outer Rim, or Mid Rim.

Notes: The Exiu system has three habitable planets. For thousands of years, it was completely cut off from the rest of the galaxy by the choice of its people. The three planets are Meridi, the most habitable, Exiu I, called Arachan by its inhabitants, and Exiu II.
_________

Meridi

Climate: Tropical.

Weather: Tropical. Meridi is subjected to a dry season, a wet season, and a hot season. During the dry season, no rain falls, though the tropical climate holds enough water that drought is not a worry. During the wet season, on the other hand, rain falls in torrents for weeks at a time. The hot season is a period of two or three months in the fourth and fifth months in which it is so hot that the people of Meridi can barely stand it. Strangers stay inside during this season.

Terain: Meridi has two large continents, with a sea separating them. Both continents are primarily jungle. In the populated areas the jungle has been cleared for hundreds of miles, resulting in vast stretches of farmland. There are mountain ranges scattered here, and on the smaller, less populated continent, there is a desert spanning the lower third.

Population: Meridi is heavily populated. The largest cities, including Thallai, its capital, hold about half of its people. The other half live in the smaller towns, or on farms slashed out of the jungle. The native population consists of two major species: humans, and a feline species called Shiri’anun. The Shiri’anun stand about 2 meters tall, and are covered in fur of various shades and length. They are fiercely proud, and protective of their own. For a long while, they did not have dealings with the humans.

Government: Meridi is governed by a monarch, and his council of advisors. Just before the start of the Clone Wars, King Aik’n joined the Republic, sending two Senators, one human, and one Shiri’anun, to represent the planet. After that, the king was more of a symbol. Incidentally, this was the first time humans and Shiri’anuns had any sort of dealings with each other.

Days: 30 hours

Year: 380 days

Major Imports: Meridi is pretty much self sufficient, so it only imports luxuries, such as precious stones, and valuable fur.

Major exports: Meridi is known mostly for its spicy food, filled with curry, and other rich tastes.
_______________

Exiu I (Arachan)

Climate, Weather, and Terrain: Freezing. Arachan is basically a ball of ice covered rock. There is a belt along the equator that is exposed rock, but otherwise… The core of the planet is solid rock, rather than molten which makes the planet that much colder.

Population: Unlike Meridi, Arachan is sparsely populated. It’s inhabitants, grey skinned humanoids called Arachani, live in close knit cave dwelling communities on the rock belt. The Arachani have very good eyesight in the dark, and six long, slim fingers, on each hand. They all have white hair, and bright green eyes There are no cities above ground as the climate is too harsh.

Government The Arachani live in clans, with a tribal leader. There is no ultimate planetary government, and tribal wars are frequent. They tell clan members apart by the tattoos each Arachani wears, though the symbols are too complex and similar for strangers to learn. Ultimately, Arachan is a colony planet of Meridi.

Day: 20 hours

Year: 510 days. Arachan and Exiu II are unique in the galaxy in that they are the same distance from the sun, though Arachan’s orbit is horizontal, and Exiu II’s is vertical. As yet, the planets have never come close enough to each other to cause serious problems.

Major Imports: The Arachani import weapons, and ships, as well as a canine beast called a Growllyng.

Major Exports: none.
____________________

Exiu II

Climate, Weather, and Terrain: Exiu II is the same distance from the star, Exiu, as Arachan, but it’s core is of molten rock, so it is somewhat more hospitable to life. Low evergreen shrubs with semi-edible berries, and hardy clumps of grass grow throughout the midrange of the planet, to within five thousand kilometers of each pole. The poles are tundra with little or no life.

Population: Exiu II is inhabited by small, semi sentient arthropods, called the Et’tiu, which stand about .5 meters tall, and are 1 meter long. They live in caves throughout the planet.

Government: The Et’tiu have no known government.

Day: 13 hours.

Year: 515 days. Exiu II takes five days longer to complete its orbit than Arachan.

The Et’tiu have no imports or exports.
______________

Notes: Arachan and Exiu II are both considered colony planets of the sovereign planet of Meridi. Representatives from the Arachan report to the king on a regular basis, and pilots from Meridi often visit Exiu II to ensure that nothing is amiss.

Gallaghan - created by Kudzu

A neighbor of Crucio only two and a half parsecs distant from it, Gallaghan is a world with a lively bunch of denizens and home to some of the best breweries in the galaxy, including high-rise skyscrapers entirely devoted to the creation of their famous ales, brandies, beers, and microbrews. Outside of several main cities, which are remarkably clean without seeming glitzy and lack the poverty and crime problems that plague nearly every other urban center in the known galaxy, the population is largely rural, living in small medium-tech, laid-back farming communities in the pastural countryside. Closer to the equator, its jolly people have adopted more exotic traditions, and one of Gallaghan's most popular lures - almost a tourist trap in its nature, lacking the relaxed vibrancy of the other cities - is the city of Bellsprong, some hundred kilometers out to sea and connected to the equatorial continent by an incredibly long low bridge spanning the ocean. Bellsprong itself is a tropical casino/resort city of tall skyscrapers built on a sprawling metal deck twenty meters above the ocean's surface. Tensor and repulsor fields strain constantly to keep the deck from collapsing under the immense weight of the city, where tropical drinks and high-stakes gambling can be enjoyed for a price as high as the central spire of the Coruscanti Jedi Temple. Crime is about ten times more common in Bellsprong than in the urban metropolis, admirably well-contained and structured and remarkably safe, of Monaghue, the seat of Gallaghan's planetary government. Despite Gallaghan's attractions and modest wealth, it boasts no large military defense force, relying largely on the local sector fleet for protection. Gallaghan stayed neutral during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion and thus managed to avoid occupation by making itself not much of a target.

Galzia Menn - created by Judzu

A mountainous world of snow and ice distant from its star, Galzia Menn's tundra and cliffs were braved by clone armies under the brilliant Senior Clone Marshal Commander Van. Van's Republic forces won the day over Separatists entrenched in the planet's icy ranges, although holdouts and bandits persisted to bother occupation forces deep in the clefts and mountains of Galzia Menn until well after the Battle of Coruscant.

o Hissar I (Fenix)
o Hissar II (Wayward)
o Hissar III (Zileena)

Hissar I (Fenix)
Fenix got its name from the ancient goddess of the sun Fenix, who was said to rule the entire planet as it was so close to its star, Hissar. Fenix has come to be quite valuable, as its inhabitants have found numerous ways to harvest the power of the sun, and convert it to countless forms of energy. Enormous solar cells are located across the planet which capture light energy and convert it to electrical power. That electrical power is either used immediately, or stored in Solar Capacitors or Photoelectric Generators to be exported to other systems.

Hissar II (Wayward)
Wayward’s name came from the fact that its inhabitants fled from the Old Republic some 1000 years before the rise of the Empire. Originally, the first colonists were disgruntled government workers who were living on Coruscant and could no longer stand the corruption they saw right in the heart of the Republic. As time went on, Wayward opened its gates to beings from all over the galaxy who were unhappy with the way their planets were being ruled. Wayward is a peaceful planet, and fully embraced the ruling of the Empire, as it led in a strict and orderly fashion without the many bureaucratic flaws of the Old Republic. It has no real valuable exports to speak of, but it has 3 magnificent spaceports, which makes Wayward an ideal staging arena from which explorations can be led, or strikes initiated on New Republic controlled systems. As these spaceports were vital to the growth and success of the planet, each of Wayward’s three spaceports (Wayward City, Centerpointe, and Yudea) are protected by one w-165 Planetary Turbolaser, one v-180 Planet Defender Ion Cannon, and one SLD-26 Shield Generator. In addition, Wayward has a fairly large orbital shipyard, which two has large refit facilities, five medium refit facilities, eight small refit facilities, and two large dry docks that can handle complete overhauls of ships as large as Dreadnaught Class Cruisers. Due to its importance, Voyager Orbital Shipyard is also protected by its own SLD-26 Shield Generator.

Hissar III (Zileena)
Zileena was named after the Empress who first conquered the entire planet. What makes the planet Zileena unique is the fact that it has no axial rotation, so one side of it is always facing Hissar directly, making it uninhabitable, and the other side is always facing away, making it so frigid that no one can survive there either. The only geographic area that is inhabitable is the 800-kilometer wide stretch of land that runs up and down Zileena’s vertical centerline. Since only a small portion of land is available to support life on Zileena, civil wars have always raged across the area commonly called Midline, until one faction conquers all others, gaining supremacy of the entire planet. Since Empress Zileena, only five other factions have ruled Midline in its entirety. However, the last civil war, known as the Omega War, which happened 200 years before the rise of the Empire, completely destroyed every living being on Zileena. The planet has been uninhabited ever since, as well as unexplored, which means valuable supplies and technology may still be available among the Midline ruins.

Ididahplosh (eee-deed-aww-plawwsh) - created by Palpy560
A water world just beyond the outer rim worlds, this small planet is home to monstrous under-sea life forms. Discovered by Palpatine's agents after the invasion of Naboo.

Cities:
Two major cities populate the vast water under-surface.

Ididahtara-Huge pyramids of coral rock act as the sky scrapers of this rich and highly populated metropolis. An on-world Political Center comunicates to the other major city on the planet. Because this planet is far beyond reach of the Republic, the government runs in another fashion. (See Below)

Ididahtoro-The industrial city of the world. Behind such projects as Weapons and Arms, construction of buildings, consumer products, and Medical Potions. The creatures here have found a way to produce energy from the vast water resources around them.

Government: The Royal Family of Ididahplosh has done well over many generations. While the current monarch resides above the surface of the water in a sparkling palace, his fellow royals reside below amoung the populous and run the two Political Centers.

History/war and conflict:
4 wars have taken place over the world's history.

The War of Consanimo: Consanimo is the name given to Shark-like war lords who live in the dark regions of the water. Around the time of the Jedi-Sith Wars, the Consanimo launched an assault on the two metropolitan states. During the Battle of Factory 67, the leader of the Consanimo invaded Ididahtoro in hopes of stealing weapons technology. During the battle, the leader was killed and the war lords driven back from the city.

Civil War: Both cities fought each other for 200 years (in our time) but over time, the war became to bloody for any to continue.
Some still blame the other city for their problems.

War of Waves: The Consanimo returned again many years later to attack the surface of the world and the Palace located there. The resulting battles created a giant wave that left the Palace in shambles but also drove the attackers back under the surface. The great wave has since become legend.

Clone Wars: During the Clone Wars, General Grievous used this world as a base for a very sinister project called the Dark Serpent Project. It was on this planet that the true nature of Darth Sidious's genetic scheme was uncovered.
Thankfully the creatures of this world were very friendly to the Republic despite being so far away from its rule. And as such hated General Grievous.

Is'taria (Named by Annemarie Gazzolo) - created by DarthIshtar

Name of the planet is unknown, but it is in the same sector as Ord Mantell. It was settled five hundred years before the rise of the Empire by political fugitives and the families that they had to put into hiding in order to protect them. It was fairly ignored during its first few hundred years, but during the Clone Wars, it was used as a relay spot for Separatist battle coordination. As a result, the Republic annexed it half a year before the Empire was formed. Because of its rich resources, it was exploited for mining purposes.

The Empire, in an effort to keep the populace alive and avoid wasting Imperial lives in the mines, formed a network of medical facilities to deal with everything from family medicine to spinal damage and lung disease. It was because of these facilities that three Rebels took refuge there after running into a bounty hunter at Ord Mantell.

Vader tracked them down there and began burning out the cities until he could find the Rebels. The Rebels escaped before he could, so he locked the people who had harbored them and his own men into the medcenter and had it blasted out of existence.

A year is 320 days
a week is 8 days

It is a multi-climed world with six continents of varying terrains. The main settlements are on the northeastern continent. The people speak Basic by habit, but teach their children Shta.

Ix - created by ophelia

System: The . . . Ix System? ::Ducks Tarkin's other slipper::

Location: *Also* on the Outer Rim, about a 45-degree counter-clockwise turn from Angharad. Its sun is made invisible to most of the galaxy by the dense dust cloud of the Serpent's Head Nebula.

Details: My original notes on this planet simply say, "Ix sucks." It is basically a great big truck stop--a place for people using commercial hyperspace lanes to rest for a night or two in inexpensive squalor. At one time, before patterns in hyperspace travel shifted, Ix had a more upscale class of visitor as well. Those days are long gone, but the gutted shells of once-grand hotels near the capitol's spaceport act as a reminder of the next-best-thing-to-glory that once was Ix. The planet's capitol is called "Great Wassow," and its name--belied by its singular lack of greatness--is explained by the fact that the Great Wassow, a massive, almost lake-like river, flows nearby. There is, in fact, a Lesser Wassow to the north and east which is a tributary to this river. "Lesser Wassow" would have been a better name for the capitol, but alas, the city and the smaller river are separated by several hundred kilometers.

Climate: It rains a lot. Like Angharad, Ix has open, river-crossed grassland and barren desert country, but somehow Ix manages to be less attractive by about a factor of ten. Irrepsonsible waste management by Great Wassow's city trustees hasn't helped; raw sewage and poorly-treated reactor outflow are dumped straight into the city's namesake river.

Population: Rather dismally low--only around 10 million permanent residents on the entire planet, almost all of whom live in and around Great Wassow. Since the planet is a galactic truck stop, beings of all species and types live there.

Main Industry: Services provided to travelers. Also, ripping off travelers. Various Invisible Market industries flourish here too, as does plain old ordinary poverty and unemployment.

Context in which the planet appears: Sixteen-year-old Anakin Skywalker was forced to land here in a desperate flight from Angharad. Obi-Wan Kenobi had been gravely wounded by the CMC's hired army and its low-tech Jedi-neutralization techniques, and he'd sent Anakin offworld in a last-resort attempt to get help. Unfortunately, the CMC mercenary navy had shot up the boy's ship, and he was unable to travel as far as Coruscant. He ended up on Ix instead, among blaster-packing bar bouncers, comms pirates, and the occasional murderous flying Sith Lord.

Kolaris - created by Sith-I-5

I'm not in the habit of plaguirism. Did I just say that?
This planet was just mentioned in passing, but is heavily based on the planet Fractalus, from the Lucasfilm game Rescue on Fractalus that I was playing at the time.
Barren rocky orange surface. Heavily acidic atmosphere. Site of a secrety base in a hollowed out mountain. Don't know whose.

Migruna VII - created by Souderwan

System: Migruna

Location: Several days travel in hyperspace from the core, deep in the Outer Rim.

Details: Migruna III is the third planet in the Migruna system. Migruna III revolves around twin suns and has three moons. The planet is very large (about three times the size of Earth) and lush. Has three continents separated by fairly rough seas.

Climate:Primarily a tropical climate, Migruna III is rife with woods and lush green hills and fauna. The planet experiences four seasons but the summer months are the longest.

Population: The planet is inhabited by the Migru, a tiny creature with large ears and big bulbous eyes. The planet population is very small (approximately 50,000). Because of their excessively long life-spans (up to 1500 yrs), the Migru do not procreate frequently.

Main Industry: The only source of Kriva juice, juice found to be more effective than any other chemical at enticing others to tell the truth. Highly sought after by government agencies. Also producers of cadrinium, a green crystal with undefined properties, largely believed to be used for jewelry.

Context in which the planet appears: Three hundred years before the fall of the Republic, Yoda frequently visited his home planet Migruna III.

Mistan Four (can be called Mistan 4 or Mistan IV, but is usually spelled out) - created by Eleventh_Guard

System: Mistan

Location: The Mistan system is in the Mid-Rim, between the Hydian and Perlemian Trade Routes (closer to the Hydian).

Details: Mistan Four is one of five planets in the system, and one of two inhabitable planets. (Well, it's only barely habitable now, but that's a long story that will be described below.) It was mostly forest and grassland with a single large mountain range in the northern hemisphere. The natural water supply, which includes small rivers and creeks through the forested areas, is mildly metallic.

Climate: The climate of Mistan Four in its heydey - up to 50 ABY - was temperate and pleasant, with only minimal shifts through the seasons.

Population History: There was no natural sentient population on Mistan Four. It was first settled in approximately 100 BBY and maintained a small population, never rising above 5,000; competition with spaceports closer to the main spacelanes kept it quiet, and most who would go out there were malcontents and criminals who needed a place for secret dealings. In 13 BBY, the Galactic Empire took over, but never used the planet as anything more than a minor military outpost. The station was abandoned in 5 ABY, and once more the planet became a haven for shady characters. One late settler, believed to have arrived in the early 20s ABY, was Darth Korosia, the rogue apprentice of an unknown master. (Rumor is that she was apprenticed to Lady Lumiya, but this remains unverified.) The remnants of the Zeran Sith Order - Darth Inferna and Darth Vexon - claimed the abandoned Imperial station in 25 ABY. Sithstrike ending: Korosia was killed in a dispute with Inferna, who then left Mistan Four in the care of Vexon to pursue other interests. Vexon began mining operations in 45 ABY. He allowed criminals to remain on the planet until 48 ABY, when he declared the planet a military holding of his own. From here he based the Guerrica Empire, and built factories to build battle droids. The Guerrican Sith Wars were fought from 48 ABY to 50 ABY, when the other major factions of the galaxy (including the Chiss Ascendancy, Hapes Consortium, and others) banded together and invaded Mistan Four, planning to knock out its fleet and droid factories and force a surrender. The Droid Empress ending: Vexon and his heir both died during the invasion, and the Empire was partially disbanded, with an interim ruler over the remainder. However, so much debris from the battle fell into the atmosphere of Mistan Four, with plenty of toxic spills, that the sun's rays are completely blocked out, and Mistan Four has been plunged into an ice age with toxic water wherever it melts. Mistan Three, the hot ocean planet, suffered a similar fate. With proper equipment, one could still survive on it, but it would take a rather desperate adventurer to seek refuge in the Mistan system following the end of the Guerrican Sith Wars.

Main Industry: Various metal ores, which were mined out and depleted by 50 ABY, and special battle droids, for which production ceased also in 50 ABY.

Moniron - created by earlybird-obi-wan

Planet: Moniron

System: Moniron nebulae

Location: Few days travel in hyperspace from the core, outer rim. Errased from the star charts by Darth Vader four years after his rise to power.

Details: Moniron is the third planet in the Moniron system. Moniron revolves around a sun and has one moon. The planet is not large (about the size of Earth) and lush. Has four continents separated by seas. Names: Aarga, Rhova, Monira and Harada. Aarga is the most developed part and has some large cities and the capital Monir. Most settlers from other planets are on that continent. Rhova is the home continent of the natives of Moniron, the Dunai elder.
Moniron is difficult to travel to because of the nebulae that errodes the drive

Climate: like earth: all kinds of terrain: woods and lush green hills and fauna. The planet experiences four seasons.

Population: The original inhabitants of Moniron are the Dunai elder and about 500.000.000 are living on Rhova. Dunai elder have a long life span of up to 990 years. All Dunai elder are Force sensitive but only a few of them were given to the Jedi. Dunai elder met humans and their descendants became the Dunai with a life span of about 260 years. They live mostly on Rhova like the Dunai elder.

Main Industry: agricultural and main export: Husans a horse-like creature.

Context in which the planet appears: Two Jedi-healers come from Moniron (time of prequels) and Yoda’s lightsaber ends up on Moniron. Moniron becomes the place for the new Jedi-healers academy.

Perelia - created by Kudzu

This small, metal-rich, sleepy world was situated far from the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan Core. A colony of isolationist settlers was founded on it, largely contained in a single small city, about a hundred years prior to the Clone Wars. Sichi Ravinn of Nubia eventually relocated to Perelia and became its leader after breaking with his friend from Naboo, Senator Palpatine, over philosophical differences that Ravinn didn't like to discuss. When Ravinn allied himself with Count Dooku during the Clone Wars and assumed martial law over the little Perelian colony, Palpatine saw his chance to strike back and had the assault ship Vandar sent upon a Senate vote to take it for the Republic, citing the need to keep Perelia's almost limitless stocks of ore from Confederacy hands. A clone army led by Generals Ki-Adi-Mundi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Anakin Skywalker along with Clone Marshal Commander Cody seized the planet in a blitzkrieg storming of its only population center, and on the orders of Palpatine himself, CI-07, his Clone Intelligence agent on Perelia, summarily executed Commander Sichi Ravinn.

Seterria - created by Lady_Cora

System: Seterr

Location: The Seterr System is located in the Expansion region, between the Inner and Mid Rims, five parsecs from the Brak Sector, toward the Core.

Details: Seterria is the only planet in the Setter System. Due to its proximity to the Corellian Run, the planet has been inhabited since the discovery of hyperspace travel.

Climate: Seterria is a temperate world, with some extreme tendencies (the winters are usually very cold, while the summers tend to get very hot).

Population: as stated above, Seterria has been populated ever since the birth of the Republic. Still, it is not very crowded, due to the sometimes extreme temperature changes. Most of the population is made of humans (78%), while the other 22% are Grans, Duros and Weekways.

Main Industry: Setteria, just like Nubia and Corellia, has invested a great deal in the manufacture of spaceships. However, the models are less reliable than their Corellian counterparts, so they were only marketed in the Mid and Outer Rims.

Context in which the planet appears: even though its sships are not on par with the Core and Inner Rim ones, Seterria was targeted by the Separatists, during the Clone Wars. A large showdown, between the Republic and the Confederacy took place in the System, with the republic as the victor. During the batlle, general Obi-Wan Kenobi was gravely wounded and had to be rushed to a med-center on the planet, leaving the task force under the Command of his Padawan and Lieutenant. This was Anakin Skywalker's first importand command mission in the war... which ended in disaster, as a hidden Separatist task force, lying in wait behind the system's sun, destroied the Republic flagship, The Praetor, in a stunning attack.

His failure as a Commander and the death of The Praetor's crew would haunt Skywalker for years to come.

Sheen Veaiyn System - created by Jennifer_Lyn

The Shenn Veaiyn system exists near the Doldur, neighboring Rhodia and Falleen on the Corellian Run. Orbiting the binary suns (called First Sun and Second Sun by the native population), the two inhabited planets make up one of the prime nicobacc producing systems in the galaxy.

Haearn, its vast open plains and rich soil, well suited to agriculture, grows some of the most potent nicobacc known. Its sister planet, Ariannu, houses large inhaler manufacturing facilities and controls much of the trade and pricing for nicobacc.

The humaniod population, the Arianni, all exihbit the characteristic green blood and green skin of their race. They are further distinguished by their three fingered, one thumbed hands and four toed feet. Their life expectancy is limited to about 100 years, with a few exceptions reaching 150. Lifespan is often shortened by the harder plantation life on Haearn to approximately 85 years.

They are ruled by a plutocracy of plantation and factory owners who, combined, form the Ariannian Confederacy of Shenn Veaiyn. There is a quiet minority of theocratic tribes, the Aurum, residing in the mountain regions of both planets. They are religious dissenters to the Confederacy and oppose the production of nicobacc on the grounds that it poisons its users and prevents them from properly following the ways of the Sawol. Superstitions surrounding these people suggest that the Sawol may be their word for the Force.

Desire by different factions to control the nicobacc trade caused a civil war approximately 50 years before the fall of the Old Republic. An Overlord Dergei ruled the Confederacy for a short time, and in his effort to control the uprising by the citzens of Haearn, decimated much of the viable agricultural regions. After he was overthrown, a large grant from the Republic Senate allowed for high quality terraforming, returning the plantations back to their original viability.

Planet: Haearn
Details: The planet's iron rich soil is well suited to nicobacc agriculture. Colonized in the early days of the Old Republic by the Arianni of its sister planet.
Terrain: A mostly pastoral planet, there are 5 major mountain ranges spread across its three continents.
Climate: A temperate climate with hot summers and mild winters.
Flora: Most natural flora was wiped out over the course of the colonization, giving way to the vast nicobacc plantations. In the less hospitable polar regions, efforts have been made to reestablish the Sorfu forests that once covered much of the surface.
Fauna: Besides the imported Dewback, herded on large ranches in the western regions for their meat, there are only a few native deer-like species and no large predators. The large Equivere, once thought extinct, has been cloned and efforts are being made to reestablish the population in the foothills of the five mountain regions. They are often kept as sport and companion animals. A feral variety of canid has begun to make a nuisance of itself along the coasts of the Sastra region and efforts are being made to control the burgeoning population.
Days: 31 hours
Years: 235 days
Major imports: farming equiptment, most manufactured goods
Major exports: raw and dried nicobacc

Planet: Ariannu
Details: Much of the population lives along the coastal regions where large spaceports have been established alongside the vast nicobacc inhaler facilites. An economic power during the days of the Old Republic, as the desire for nicobacc increased with the stressful times starting with the Clone Wars and escalating after the fall of the Republic, the population of Ariannu became some of the wealthiest in the region.
Terrain: Mountainous over much of the two continents, the coastal plains run in vast swathes up to the foothills and despite their low elevation, rarely flood.
Climate: Harsh and windy winters with mild summers
Flora: Low growing mountain scrub in the higher elevations, marsh and dune grasses in the lower elevations
Fauna: Mountain hoppers and high flying Strykes that feed on small rodents in the upper reaches. The lower elevations have a native, wild Equivere population preyed upon by the Sand Tigre.
Days: 64 hours
Years: 426 days
Major imports: raw materials for nicobacc inhaler production
Major exports: nicobacc inhalers

Supien I (Supien)
Supien II (Nal Hutta II)

Supien I (Supien)
The planet Supien was once a peaceful planet under Imperial control. However, during the Galactic Civil War, outspoken Rebel diplomat Harm Saezar was able to incite numerous uprisings around the entire world. Not only did Governor Brennar - who was spineless and idiotic - not report these uprisings to higher Imperial authorities, he also did not use the resources he had available to him to crush the rebellion on Supien. Saezar would later be assassinated by one of the Empire's top agents, but not until after Supien had fallen out of the hands of the Empire and declared neutral. While under Imperial control, Supien was not allowed to sell arms to its sister planet of Nal Hutta II, but lately the Interim Council has begun selling arms to Zerdoona the Hutt, which could become quite a dangerous situation in the future.

Supien II (Nal Hutta II)
Current theory states that Nal Hutta II, formerly known as Wyrkyr, due to its small size and close proximity to the planet Supien, used to be a moon of that planet. However, due to unknown scientific anomalies, it somehow managed to gain its own independent orbit around the star of Supien. Many years before the rise of the Empire, Zerdoona the Hutt was banished from his home planet of Nal Hutta, as many of the other Hutt clans believed he was gaining too much power and influence. With no other place to call home but with limitless financial and material resources, Zerdoona decided to make Wyrkyr his base of operations. At the time, Wyrkyr was merely a large but peaceful spaceport, so once again, Zerdoona's power increased unusually fast. Within no time, Zerdoona the Hutt's clan controlled just about every operation on Wyrkyr. It was then that Zerdoona had the audacity to rename the planet Nal Hutta II, just out of spite. Since then, Nal Hutta II has become a haven for the galaxy's most notorious smugglers and criminals.

TER'JANIII - created by GraySaberFreque

system: Reeque Astertof(Ter'Janiii for Red Asteroids)

Physical Details: Ter'Janiii is a planet surronded by huge red asteroids created by the explosion of Getteck(a planet in the same system)at about 2,500,000 BBY.In truth, Ter'Janiii is also an asteroid but it is the bigest asteroid in the system. It Orbits the Reeque star(the sun of the system).Ter'Janiii is the only know habitable planet in the system.Ter'Janiii is a planet covered in red dust in a constant sand storm.

History: About 15,000 BBY Ter'Janii was settled by a group of 10,000 refugees from an unknown planet.Originally there was no set government on Ter'Janiii until the tona family came about 14,587 BBY, there are many legends about the Tona families origins but none have been confirmed or denied. According to legend, Emila Tona gave birth to three sons wich she gave role to, Jan Tona:First son and family leader, Gegue Tona: Family Merchant, and Asleuq Tona: The Slave. There are many myths about the childhood of the sons, but the only certain thing is that the ter'Janiii continue the tradition of giving their children role, the 1st the leader, the 2nd the merchant, the 3rd the slave. According to legend, the Tona family united Ter'Janiii at unknow date (estimated 14,537 BBY).

During the clone wars, both the republic and Seperatists fought over Ter'Janiii for its rich Reeque Asteroid deposits, one of the most sturdy and strong building materials in the galaxy; able to withstand even the most powerful lasers, blasters , and even ship bombardments and missiles.Ter'Janiii though, chose to remain outside of the war in order to keep their independence.

During the galactic civil war, the Terjaniiians signed a pact with the empire stating that as long as no military presence or or laws come to Ter'Janii, the empire would have full control over the Ter'Janiii fleet and Military as well as a early tribute.

In the new rebublic, Ter'Janiii remained fearclly independent, even defending themselves against the Yuzahn Vong without republic assistance. But when the second Correlian inserection happened. Ter'Janiii eventually joined the republic, not wishing to end up as correlia did.

Population: 99.9billion
Imports: Water, ships
Exports: Reeque Astertof, produce, and Reeque dust.

Varisor - created by Kudzu

This small backwater planet in the Expansion Region was the location of a string of Confederacy garrisons, all far too small to handle an assault from Commander Keller's clone troopers during the Clone Wars. Commodore Oeran Gate, once a top-ranking member of the Confederacy military structure until a disagreement with General Grievous that saw him demoted and assigned to an unimportant post, escaped the world's conquest and later became a Rebel Alliance freedom fighter, fighting under the extremist banner of Cody Sun-Childe until his mysterious disappearance and then joining the mainstream Alliance itself.

Doolamar

Bul Phop

This Mid Rim planet was known for its agricultural usefulness and its genetic engineering experimentations both. The hardworking people of Bul Phop tried to use their bioengineering knowledge to create superior products, hardier and with better taste, larger size, and longer storage life. Unfortunately, one experiment went violently awry and a breed of too hardy and resilient grain plants escaped the lab, quickly multiplying and within months having overtaken every spot of land on the world. The planet's humble, rural cities found themselves swamped in fast-growing, hard-to-kill kankan graingrass. They immediately moved to dismantle all bioengineering projects, laboratories, and research and issued a strong condemnation of the science, which went largely ignored. Appeals to Imperial Center went likewise ignored, though during the New Republic's rule, the Jedi Master Luke Skywalker went to Bul Phop to try to help alleviate the problem. The planet was by then relying heavily on imports for non-kankan sustenance, as their planet swimming in grain could scarcely support any other food sources. However, even Skywalker shuffled Bul Phop off his priority list after feeling the distress of Mara Jade on nearby Doolamar through the Force, and took off with a promise to return. He never did, sending Jedi Knight Streen instead, who could not solve the problem. Bul Phop eventually fell to the Yuuzhan Vong, and they found a way to fix the agricultural overgrowth. Unfortunately, few of the inhabitants of the world survived it.

Crucio

Gallaghan

Asceplis

Orbited by several moons, the largest (Depudus) having a 6-kilometer-wide satellite of its own (Belemnos), the pelagic planet of Asceplis is a less frequented Expansion Region planet with a monarchy government. It was governed by King Asap III from about two years prior to the Battle of Naboo to around a year before the Battle of Coruscant, when a Separatist-supported coup by his cousin, Eicig, exiled him to a penal colony on Depudus. The colony was eventually liberated by the ARC Captain A-51. Details on the Battle of Asceplis forthcoming.

Perelia

Execer

Varisor

Galzia Menn

A mountainous world of snow and ice distant from its star, Galzia Menn's tundra and cliffs were braved by clone armies under the brilliant Senior Clone Marshal Commander Van. Van's Republic forces won the day over Separatists entrenched in the planet's icy ranges, although holdouts and bandits persisted to bother occupation forces deep in the clefts and mountains of Galzia Menn until well after the Battle of Coruscant.

Armis II

I'll start with Is'taria.

Is'taria (Named by Annemarie Gazzolo)

I came up with this world.
Details on its history and economy and such are also given. batting
Ididahplosh (eee-deed-aww-plawwsh)

Wow, impressive! I'm glad you guys dropped by, and I love what you've conjured up. You obviously put a whole lot of work into these. Good job coming up with that planet on the fly Palpy - turned our nice.

Here's another system for your travels...

Name: Aister
Color: Red
Size/Magnitude: Main sequence star
Planets: 3

Aister I
Aister II
Aister III

Aister I Specifications
Planet Name: Aister I

Starport: None
Population: Moon of Aister 521,630,000 Humans
Government: Aister Empire
Tech Level: Space

Major Imports: Food, water, basic Survival Needs

Aister II Specifications

As far as I can remember, off the top of my head, I have only created two worlds, and embellished a bunch of existing ones.

Created:
Dynetheus - Insectoid race, possibly the Cacanadas, just so standard humans, lazy when it comes to language, would refer to them as 'Nads'.

Kolaris - I'm not in the habit of plaguirism.

Embellished:
New Cov - based several stories there. But I don't think I have any online, whether on TF.N or not.

Five fortified city states across the planet, one pyramidic Imperial Garrison named the Ziggurat.
Wild vegetation has the rest of the planet, except where agriculture has claimed the land.

Space Port run by private corporation, police on the planet called the City Guard. Cannot think what else to say without going into detail.

Okay, to try to stir up some activity, let's see if we can't get our first topic started (and you can always add to the database whenever you want).

NEW TOPIC: You are an Interstellar Travel Agent, and vacation season is approaching quickly! Your goal is to sell as many timeshares as possible on any one of your planets, and you can either use one of your previously created planets, or create a planet just for this challenge. Create a pamphlet of any length to post right here, and let your clients know why they should buy some serious timeshares on your selected Star Wars locale. I think we can let some plot bunnies loose with this one...

Have fun!

I just so happen to have one OC planet. My first attempt. Since it currently only exists in a WIP, it'll likely become more detailed in the future. It just so happens, said WIP can be found...here -> Planet Hopping But for now, here's what I know:

Name: Durcust

I've got tons of these things lying around. Makes it a big pain to look for my keys. (Did I leave it on the tan planet or the grey one? Hmm...) By the way, if anybody wants to use my planets, except Mistan Four, feel free, though they're nothing special. The Mistan system is mine from 20-52 ABY, and I've got big in-progress plans for it. grin

Overly Caffeinated Announcer: Are you tired of being just another face in a crowd? Sick from the smell of millions of bodies in close quarters? Do you want an escape from sweltering heat and dust storms? Look no farther than Xi Alta, near the tip of the Tingel Arm. This glorious planet, made of giant glittering crystals of dihydrogen monoxide, is the perfect getaway for you and a special someone. If it was good enough to hide a Sith Lord, two Star Destroyers, and thousands of crew members for half a century, there's virtually no chance of your meddlesome mother-in-law finding you there on a lovers' retreat and complaining about the food. The planet is now completely uninhabited - and waiting for YOU!

With a day temperature of -30C and a night temperature of -60C, you'll never have to worry about heat exhaustion. The cloud cover also keeps out most of the damaging UV rays of the white Alta sun, acting as a natural sunscreen to keep your skin looking younger and smoother. Scale the northeastern glaciers or pull out those ice skates and relive your childhood. The possibilities are endless! Call 999-FLYALTA today to book a flight!

Alrighty then! Movin' right along...

NEW TOPIC: You are Jan Dodonna, and the Alliance has just destroyed the Death Star, but now you must find a new home for your Rebel base. Which one of your OC Systems would make a good location for the Rebs to set up shop and why?

Wow, this is a cool thread. I was also always amazed at all the different places there were in the Star Wars universe.

You are Jan Dodonna, and the Alliance has just destroyed the Death Star, but now you must find a new home for your Rebel base. Which one of your OC Systems would make a good location for the Rebs to set up shop and why?

That would have to be...M24601KC, an obscure little planet that hasn't got a name yet. I invented it for a fic that will most likely never make it to the boards. However, the planet's got a mild climate, neither to hot like Mustafar, nor too cold like Hoth. It's got jungles like Yavin IV, natural bodies of water, and plenty of cave formations that would make for excellent bunkers.

I think an unnamed planet goes one step beyond the obscurity of Hoth! Thanks, spork! I'm also glad you like this thread. Business thus far has been pretty slow, but I'm doing whatever I can to change that. Thanks for your contribution!
