	This thread is intended to help writers find a Star Wars equivalent to every day earth terms. Don't you hate sitting there for an hour trying to remember if there is a Star Wars word for a bee? It will list only words used in “official” Star Wars books, comics, etc. Please don’t add words that you have created for use in your own stories. This is only for Star Wars, not other science fiction works. If you come across a term that is an equivalent for an earth term, just post it here and I’ll add it to the official list the next time I update. Elevators are always called lifts in the novels, but in ROTS Obi-Wan and Anakin called them elevators.
