	Yeah, I guess they'd probably get along- but if they didn't... well lets just say it wouldn't be pretty. Okay, here's my tentative plan for a challenge: This would hopefully be the first of many Extreme AU-er official challange, and I'll be the one issuing it. Subsequent challenges would be issued by other thread goers, and links, rather than actual stories, would be posted to this thread. 	I believe you have to talk to the mods about challenges. 	That's pretty neat. Did you manage to work in any substitute/parrallel for the Force? Higher instincts. As of now, not quite yet. But I'm always ready for when an idea hits me so I can go back and edit. lol And French Yoda not that odd hmm? 	Saber_Girl_Jaina - HAVE YOU CHECKED WITH THE MODS? Sorry to shout but I said earlier that you have to check with the mods about this before issuing a challenge. There are also specific rules about the challenges - you either have to have a specific challenge thread in each of the boards or else have a place for an index. In either case, you have to check with the mods first. 	Hello all. While the idea of this challange is very intriguing, we do have a halt on challenges for the moment as Diane stated. Now while you do have a thread going in discussion of AU's, give the mods a chance to catch up with this as there's lots of things going on right now. It also correct that should the challenges be green-lighted, it is expected that a thread be made on each era board and this be the place for them to be posted. 	Being that this thread has pretty much established itself, we don't see a reason to hold back a challenge. Remember a thread needs to be created for any era forum that the challenges may fall into and this is where they should be posted. You can always announce in the thread when you have one up and an Index can be added to the first post of this thread as well. 	Grr... Can't seem to make the edit stick, so the copy, and the index will go here as well. This is the first of what I hope will be many challenges, and I've already been told the idea is "intriguing." So here it is, the First Extreme AU-er Challenge: I challenge you to write a in which 1. a character remains in the role they started out in, or in an intermediate role (e.g. you could portray Corran Horn as a cop or a pilot, but not a Jedi). You may choose the character, but their role must have changed dramatically in the cannon. This includes characters such as Tycho Celchu, whose defection was mentioned but not shown. 2. that character interacts with a character whose role HAS changed in accordance with the cannon. Focus at least in part on the way the relationship between the characters is different and/or similar to their cannon relationship. The fic may be of any length, but if it is longer than one post, please establish a seperate thread and simply post a link to it on the relevant era board.
