Have your OC remember and acknowledge their ancestors. Perhaps they contact them through a séance, place flowers on a grave, or talk to them in hopes they are out there somewhere listening.

GFFA is an enormous galaxy, and though humans are its most common species, they're far from the only ones. It's easy to write about humans since everyone can relate to them. So for this challenge, try writing a story from the point-of-view of an alien. Near-humans are okay, as long as they are not so similar that they could be mistaken as human. (For example, Chiss or Miraluka would work but not Hapans or Chalactans)
