Welcome back Ale! I want to extend my personal thanks for stepping up to the plate and making me feel a tiny bit less guilty for running at full speed away from the plate
And congratulations to Jinngerbread! I haven't read your entry yet, but when I return to the boards full time I'll be going back over every single post that I missed in this thread, and their related posts in other forums. I will be sure to reply when I come across it

I hate to ask, but why do your Yuuzhan Vong references always have an "XP" afterward? Have the Vong been bought out by Microsoft after a failed bid for Yahoo?
Will there be a Yuuzhan Vong Vista coming out soon?

NEVER! I want a fight with the people who made Windows Vista.

See, that's where they went wrong in the NJO. Yuuzhan Vong XP had some pretty huge security holes in it that the New Republic was able to successfully exploit.

Oh no, an inside joke thread! No no, XP is a smiley that the dropdown menu makes too...chubby.

OKay gang, I've finally come up with something for the challenge. Sorry it took me so long, been a really busy week. I had an out of town doctor's appointment that took up two days.
But I'm back now
And the epilogue for Just Before Dawn is up, I just forgot to mention it here, until tonight

Yay, new challenge.
I always intend to do them, but then I get either abducted by Darth Procrastination, of my Muse is just not available.

I now have a glass with the letters "OC" on it sitting on my computer desk. I'm tellin' ya, Orange County in southern California takes on a whole new look when you're an OC writer. I admittedly went a little crazy and got OC travel brochures and pictures of signs (the local election signs were fun), but the sad thing is that I've actually done and bought weirder things than that. This was pretty tame by my standards. I did have fun working on an OC story in the OC, though.
I just wish the Orange County here in Florida, which is like a five-minute drive away from me, went by its initials like the one in California does.
Sorry, I have a weakness for totally random posts.

All right, revolutionaries, it's time for our new monthly challenge!
This month's challenge is brought to you by the one, the only- Jinngerbread.
Appreciate Your Original Characters
The original characters tired of being the subject of constant abuse, skeptism and outright wariness are refusing to work without demonstrative changes. This month's exercise is brought to you by the Mush Association Guild as part of a settlement between the authors and their creations.
We have labored intensively for this change and we think it will reflect positively on all parties involved.
We all have those moments of quietness, downtime, reflectiveness where we appreciate the small things. A hug, a gentle look, something mushy and sweet to make us go "awwww" and yet not such that we collapse from groan inducing sweetness.
Let's get those responses in by Saturday, May 31 at midnight, board time.
