	You do know that Spartan 117 has pwned Aliens a lot tougher than the Vong all by his lonesome, right? What makes you think the Vong'd have a chance, given their inferior weapons?

Yet, it has been debated before. Spartan 117 has faced far tougher aliens, the Covenant and the Flood, than the Vong. His suit has an regenerating personal shield, he has enough strength to punch through tank armor, lift tanks and warhogs, and can run 60 mph and he, as well as Covenant Elites, see in SLOW MOTION. His physical stats outstrip the Vong Warrior's by leaps and bounds. His armor can shrug off bullets and plasma blasts, as well as increasing his already impressive stats. Let's face it, the Vong have no ranged weapons and, as the Battle of Nal Hutta showed us, their armor doesn't provide protection against Slugthrowers. It'd be a curbstomp. Heh, heh, the Chief may be happy to be facing such an easy enemy.

The descriptions given in the books are pretty unreliable given how widely they tend to vary, and an Elite without his shield can only withstand about the same amount of damage as a human Marine. -----signature----- Fey'la was right! On the other had though, there have apparently been instances of real-life soldiers achieving a state of awareness similar to bullet-time in the heat of combat, so it would only seem reasonable to assume that the Spartans are capable of a similar feat. -----signature----- Fey'la was right!
