If you've put art up here, I guess I'll assume it's the version you want used unless you post or PM back otherwise. If I don't hear anything to the contrary by Wednesday, I'm gonna start postin' and uppin'.

For Tank Boma it is the one I like to be used. Title and author can be photoshopped in (I don't have that kind of programms so for me it's pencils or paint and a scanner)

Jedi_Master_Cazz: I think we all agree it'd be awesome if you'd be willing to add the title and the by line to earlybird-obi-wan's drawing.
Gina: Nope, it's still open 
Many of the authors that get accepted to the archive don't have cover art ready, leaving it up to us to help them find an artist. Usually we use the artist's mailing list to send out requests (we decided to make covering the old fics a bit of a community event, hence posting it here). If any of you talented artists haven't joined the list, here's me hoping that you'll think about it Only editors use it (or are supposed to), and art is only requested for accepted fics, so you can be sure that your cover will be archived

Yeah, frankly, we've gotten much more help posting this up here than we usually get from requests on the artist's mailing list and fan art board thread.

...Okay, I think when I joined that list (I'm not an artist, but I can do basic Photoshop-type covers) I didn't realize only the editors could post to it. I thought the authors could ask there.

I agree.
Authors, if you look and discover your story's disappeared, it's having its coding tweaked and its cover put up. It will return soon, with appropriate fanfare.
(It's the least we can do for stories that've been up since 2001 with no cover.  )

Regular non-accepted authors can post to it. They usually don't though. If an author posts there, it's usually after they're accepted.

Update, June 30, 2008: We're starting this summer off right with three new fics.
 Between Flight and Longing by Sheila Snow
Attempting to find a cure for a critically ill Luke, Han travels to a backwater planet in the armpit of the galaxy, piloting an aging freighter discarded by the Alliance because it was unsafe to fly. With time running out for Luke, Han figures things couldn't get much worse. He's been known to be wrong before.
