I did! And wasn't the art incredible? Heck, I'd have forgiven Cade too, and before I thought Deliah should have kicked his sorry butt. 
And the little squares of Cade saying, "I hate talking" and Jariah's "I like to shoot things. No one lets me shoot things anymore" - could you just die?

How about a "woo-hoo" for character progression? Cade didn't kill Rav (even though he probably should have), AND he had green eyes the entire time. He even had a mature conversation with Blue regarding his special alone time with Talon.

The art was gorgeous! I foresee much scanning of this issue.
Those lines were TOO fun! And, also: "Artoo, go tell Syn he needs you" right before the doors close for an implied Cade/Deliah scene.

I was going to mention it over in the Cade thread, too, but WOOOO for character progression is right! The Cade Brigade needs to crash that Lit forum thread before it get derailed over irrelevant minutia and talk about how proud we are of our man.

Interesting spring time issue - romance breaking out all over the place! Good to see that there’s potentially someone for Jeriah near his age, despite her parents. 
As for the Cade/Deliah and Antares/Sia interactions…well, I have my doubts about both. Cade may have actually managed to verbalize how he thinks he feels about Deliah, but in Huttese? And why use her last name instead of her first? And as for Sia initiating a romance with Antares, her comments about her father and the fact that she doesn’t tell Antares “I love you” makes me wonder whether it’s more of a way to demonstrate her independence to her father rather than having feelings towards Antares strong enough for her to defy her father.

I’m not so sure about the Huttese translations. “Pateesa” was listed as meaning “sweetie” or “darling.” That definition would work when Cade was talking to Deliah, but he also used the word with Jeriah and Shado. Kinda hard to believe he feels the same way towards them as he does Deliah.
IMO, the relationship with the most potential in #23 is R2D2/Deliah. The attraction between the two of them is unmistakable.

You have to remember that Hutts are a hermaphroditic species. This will influence their language constructs. When a species can switch gender seemingly at will, the nuances between using “Pateesa” for a close male or a close female might become blurred.
I haven't read the issue yet, but something to think about.
I don't think 'Blue' is Deliah's actual last name. It could be, but I'm thinking it's more likely a splashy sort of nickname/alias referring to how she likes to do her hair. Who knows (besides Jan and John!), Cade could even have given it to her.
Besides, wasn't it Mara who was known to call Luke 'Skywalker'? I wouldn't necessarily view use of a surname as a lack of affection.

She did, and there was at least one time after they were married when Luke teased her by calling her 'Jade', too.
Besides, Huttese was a very common language well before Legacy, especially on the fringe, and it seems to only have become more so by the time of Cade and Deliah. I doubt the choice of language diminishes the sentiments.

It's interesting that they gave us the translations now. (I'm not complaining. If they hadn't, I'd have thrown myself at JO's feet begging to know what Cade and Deliah were saying to each other, LOL.) But - IIRC - the "I love you" is the same phrase or a variation of it that Cade said back when he found out that Deliah wouldn't abandon him on Vendexa (sp?). So, now that we know what that phrase means, it appears that Cade and Deliah were more than just friends-with-benefits from the beginning of the series. Just a random thought, although he was quite dismissive of her in Broken.  That he admits it to her face now = more character progression?

I'm glad to inspire. My own fanfic mojo has been dead soooo long.  I kinda base my assumption on Deliah's surname off of the fact that the vast majority of named Zeltrons in the EU never seem to have a surname.
Oh, kriff, 12 hours before I can get my own copy and see the gorgeousness for myself! Is it bad that I'm gonna have problems sleeping tonight?
