I put all the posts together in a word document so it's in story format and added mark-up codes. I sent to Falleen Fan, so if people want the story in one post, he can post it wherever. 
I must say that the story's developing nicely... some interesting twists and it's quite fast-paced too. Congrats, everyone!

As of RX_Sith's line,
Kadeia did not want to relive the events of her mother's demise again, but the images that her father flashed before her tormented her inner soul as she screamed in pain, "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
the story is 27 pages and 12,683 words. And that's in font 10 Arial, my preferred font and font size.
Not quite epic-length yet.

Absolutely. I can't wait to see where the story goes -- it's not like we have a formal plan or anything. Although, I'm kind of glad it hasn't reached epic length yet, because that would mean I'd still be working on compiling all of the posts.  It takes quite a long time to do that.
