Actually, while The Patriot starred Mel Gibson, the filmmakers behind it were Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich, the guys who made Independence Day. As for it being a good or accurate representation of the Revolution, well...

Feeny? Bah! Humbug! Yes, humbug I say! William Daniels was KITT, and he will always be KITT! Or maybe Dr. Craig.

I didn't really like Independence Day. Will Smith was awesome, though.

I totally agree.
I loved Independence Day! I've yet to see a film of Will Smith's that I don't like, actually.
How's everyone else doing? I just got into work for the morning, 9 more hours to go. But then I'm off to see Get Smart, so I'm excited!

Hey brodie!
I hope you enjoy your holiday weekend. I've not seen Iron Man yet, though everyone says it's awesome. I might have to get around to it..

I have to work tomorrow.
Has anyone else seen Hancock? The previews made it look like it was a comedy, but it sorta wasn't.

It wasn't a comedy? I wanted to see it because the previews make it seem so funny..

Not particularly. I mean, it was pretty good. But not entirely a comedy. There were very few funny parts that weren't in the previews.

I'm so back home and ready for a day off
and finally finished another one of my songfics. I seem to be more enthusiastic with writing fiction than with finishing my pharmcas essay on professionalism

of course! writing fanfic is always more fun that writing anything else. It's like, a rule of nerddom or something.

Definitely.
I just found out that I might be getting a new puppy today! A friend of mine who runs an animal shelter in town just got in an abused black labrador puppy, and they're looking for a good home for her. I'm going to take a look at her this afternoon -- I can't help myself. I'm a sucker for dogs.
