I plan to finish it at the end of December with the last entry being the day before Fete Week begins. I'm hoping it'll have a happy ending, but I don't know yet. It could all be doom and gloom.

I don't think that I will be able to end my diary in December. There will still be lots of years that Ben (Obi-wan) has to wait for Luke to reach the age that they finally get together. So, really, if a diary challenge is done again next year, I may just continue the one that I've been doing this year with Obi-wan and his years on Tatooine.

How clear is that end for you already?
Meb's and Asta's diaries will end, as will "Side by Side". Though "Side by Side" will spawn a fic in which I tell the whole story behind the diary, as the diary (ies) it/themselves don't tell the whole story, but just what the diarists (Padme/Angel and Obi-wan/Ben) choose to tell. As for Kavin's diary, like last year, that part of Kavin's journal will be closed and next year I will pick up several years later. I definitely will not be doing multiple diaries next year!

With my crazy schedule, I doubt I'll be able to finish Keri's diary in December. I have a place where I want it to go, I just can't seem to get there yet because Dsrth School bars the way.  
edit -- besides, I started mine in February, so I plan to go to at least the end of January.

I have plans to finish the three diaries, one is already very clear, the second one also and the third can continue but at an older stage many years in the future. A new diary can be starting for him.

I don't think I'll make it till December. Unless I start updating at least twice a week. Hm. 
I started writing on my update at work today. I was soooooo bored.

That's not what she meant.
And I'm doing the same: get paid for writing fanfic. Though I am sure my boss thinks he's paying me for something completely different. 
No way I'll ever make it this year. maybe if I updated daily, but only with luck then. I grabbed too big a story. *sigh*

I think so. Though it might go a little bit longer. There is a definite terminating event for mine that they're coming to, though it has not been hinted in the story I've posted so far.
The diary has been fun, but writing-as-you-go is really not my preferred style. I'm still more comfortable writing the whole story before posting.

That happens a lot with me, I sometimes have characters doing the exact opposite to what I want. Oh, and I almost never start a fic knowing how it's going to end.

I've had the end kinda planned out since I first started writing this thing. But I have at least 13 entries to go unless I start combining them, so there's probably no way it'll be done by then.
