Since there were many latecomers last year, I think the deadline will be around the end of January. If we managed to be a community, later entries could be discussed.
And, erm.
I see the fist diaries are up already but - WHERE ARE MY PMs?????

Sorry lazy. I was typing from my bf's comp and his spell check works for German. Now that I'm back at mine (which is set to English as default) I'll do some editing.

Good luck all you 2008 diary challenge participants!!! 
If I may be so bold...as a 2007 participant I learned a lot about this challenge and wish someone had shared some of these tidbits with me:
1. PACE YOURSELF! Story plotting is very important
2. Definitely construct an outline. divapilot introduced me to the table feature in word and it was a huge help.
3. Updating twice is month is ideal. I foolishly did once a week and it about KILLED me!
4. Try to incorporate the mini challenges in your diary. MsLanna worked hard coming up with these and they added depth and texture to our fics.
5. PM the indexer!!! MsLanna worked tirelessly keeping the list of diaries current. It was a lot of work and made easier by those who PMd her.
That's it. Best wishes for in your endeavor this year. It is a wonderful learning process and a great way to get to know the other participants.
