Grannys-Stocking posted: Challenge Index:
Challenge 1 (deadline February 23): Write a story in the GFFA's future... say at least 500 ABY... in which someone tells a story to either their child as a bedtime story, or someone telling a story to a group of younglings. Post it in the "Beyond the Saga" board, and give a link here.
The Tale of Obi-Wan Kenobi by LilyHobbitJedi
Slave and Princess by earlybird-obi-wan
An Endless Tale by Alexis_Wingstar
Legend by silverfighter
The deadline for voting is tomorrow, March 2, and no one has sent in any votes yet. I can't choose the winner on my own!
For your convenience, I quoted the post with all the links to the eligible fics. Remember, the winner gets to think up the next dare.

I think it's time for a new discussion topic:
Many fairytales have animals who speak. What animals in the GFFA do you think would play prominently in that universe?

Sorry for the double post, but, I have a challenge brought to you by the fabulous LillyHobbitJedi, the winner of our first challenge:
Write a fairytale, any era, in which the protagonist has a prophetic dream/vision and what they do about it.
Since this is a bad time with school for many, I will make the deadline May 20.

Bantha's would definitely be an animal figuring in talking animal fairytales, especially on Tatooine.

Just a reminder to everyone, the deadline for this challenge is May 20. If anyone is interested, and find it too much of a crunch, I will move it back if you want. Just express your interest/concerns here so I know.

This is an awesome idea, I actually have a fairytale charecter that I created for a Myth and Magic challenge, I may just have to bring her back for this thread.

I'd love to see that.
Ok, since we haven't gotten any responses as yet, and it also appears that finals and things are still going on for the college students, I will extend the deadline to June 30.

Okay, even with the extended deadline, no one has entered any stories for the challenge. So, I'm considering locking this thread unless people express interest.

In my fic Temple of doom Obi-Wan had prophetic dreams but that's not a fairy tale
But keep this thread alive and in many of my fics I am including stories told by a crèche master or gardener or healer about animals.

If you include links to the stories that have the fairytales you mentioned, I'll put them in the index
