I like the idea of having the Exsanguinator somewhere in-system. Having a garrison on-world would make it likely that they had a kind of containment force in place in case the locals give them trouble. It also suggests that if the Captain and Bel Maden have been in cahoots for one thing and are still assigned to the same system, there's an ongoing conspiracy.

OK.
I admit it.
I started a free-for-all!
I don't want to gang up on anyone here, or write the person's story for him. So, I apologize to RX if we've gone over the top, here. Again, I fail to anticipate stuff, or I would have said something earlier.
I'm sure he's got his own opinion about what the problems are, or if they even are problems!
Rather than post alternative story points here, let's point out whatever we think might really need to be fixed before going on to finish this, and then let him work with the script some more if he feels the need.

A novelisation, a spin off cartoon series, a series of licensed comics, a McDonalds tie-in, not to mention the toys and the video game based on the movie.
We'll be rich...except we won't because LFL will sue us...at least we might get a free Happy Meal out of it though

Okay everyone. Here is my revised portion of my story. I have changed just about everything that I posted previously. This is the final change that I will make. I made a few name changes and a lot of story changes and I hope that everyone likes what I did to it.
INT. – STAR DESTROYER EXSANGUINATOR - BRIDGE
IMPERIAL OFFICER DOOGAN
Captain, a Doctor by the name of BEL MADEN is asking for you personally.
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
(looks stoic) Send the transmission to my room.
IMPERIAL OFFICER DOOGAN
Yes, sir.
INT. – IMPERIAL STAR DESTROYER EXSANGUINATOR – CAPTAIN’S ROOM
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
(initiating secure and scrambled channel) Of all the Doctors in the galaxy, I’d never thought that I’d ever hear from you again, BEL MADEN.
BEL MADEN
I have just alerted a garrison of TIE FIGHTERS to go after a ship that just left orbit from the Imperial Medical Facility.
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
So, why do I need to get involved?
BEL MADEN
Because they know what we did to Admiral Vennig a long time ago, Captain.
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
How did they find out?
BEL MADEN
Meklis encoded a microchip with all of the information and BOT who is a droid of Meklis’ now has that information.
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
And BOT is on the ship that escaped?
BEL MADEN
Correct. BOT and a spacer by the name of LARSON ZELL, who is the pilot of the SOLAR FLARE, will be heading back to Naboo if the garrison of TIE FIGHTERS or you don’t stop him.
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
Then, I will have to MAKE sure that he doesn’t get a chance to jump out of this system.
BEL MADEN
I hope that you succeed, CAPTAIN.
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
You will owe me big for this, BEL MADEN. DESNARCAM out.
(to the BRIDGE) This is the CAPTAIN. I need you to lay in a course to intercept a ship by the name of the SOLAR FLARE. It has just exited the atmosphere of Bestine IV and should be making its’ way through the system to the hyperspace jump location. Prepare all TIE FIGHTERS for lauch. All HANDS to their BATTLE STATIONS.
EXT. SPACE – BESTINE SYSTEM
INT. SOLAR FLARE – COCKPIT
Outside is the familiar backdrop of stars as the SOLAR FLARE nears the jump point to hyperspace in the BESTINE SYSTEM. LARSON is in the pilot’s chair, nervously drumming his fingers and biting his lip. BOT is sitting in the navigator’s chair, watching LARSON attentively.
BOT
The harmonics resonating from your finger tapping sinuously reverberates with the hum of the engines.
LARSON
Huh? (notices that he is drumming his fingers) Did anyone ever tell you that you are too caustic?
BOT
Never, Captain. I was merely observing your pattern of resonance with the harm….
LARSON
(cuts off BOT) Stow it, Buckethead. If I wanted a theological explanation of my….
All of a sudden the ship rocks from a laser cannon explosion close by.
LARSON
What the….
A garrison of TIE FIGHTERS is closing in on the SOLAR FLARE. Unbeknownst to LARSON and BOT, a STAR DESTROYER is also in pursuit of them.
LARSON
Damn, I knew that he was going to call that garrison after us.
BOT
Can we outrun them?
LARSON
It looks like they’ll reach us just before the jump point. Don’t worry. I’ll take care of them.
BOT
(noticing now that the Star Destroyer is now in the system as well) Captain, before you get too overconfident, I think you should know something.
LARSON
BOT, I already told you I got everything under control. What’s bothering up now?
BOT
(pointing to the screen) That.
LARSON
(looks and sees that an Imperial Star Destroyer is closing on their position) Didn’t I ever tell you to not give me any bad news?
BOT
No.
LARSON
Well, don’t. (Another laser cannon blast rocks the SOLAR FLARE). I don’t know how we’re going to get out of this one.
ZELL goes to one of the laser turrets. He aims at the garrison of approaching TIE FIGHTERS and squeezes off laser blasts at the collection of targets. The TIE’s break formation and start to come at the ship three to four fighters at a time. They fire relentlessly at the SOLAR FLARE as the ship avoids most of the harmful assaults. A few shots do manage to hit the ship.
LARSON
Perfect. Another blast, another dent.
His heads-up display beeps as he locks onto one of the TIE’s. He squeezes the trigger and the TIE explodes.
LARSON (CONT’D)
Got one!
BOT
Don’t get too exuberant, Captain. The Star Destroyer is now within range as well.
LARSON
How many minutes until we reach the jump point?
BOT
Five, Captain.
LARSON
Okay. I guess I’ll just hold them off for five more minutes then. After all, how hard could it be?
INT. – STAR DESTROYER EXSANGUINATOR – BRIDGE
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
Launch all TIE FIGHTERS! Bring all batteries on line! Target the SOLAR FLARE’s engines only.
IMPERIAL OFFICER DOOGAN
You don’t want the ship destroyed, sir?
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
They have stolen sensitive Imperial information. Their capture is our paramount concern. Prepare the tractor beam!
The EXSANGUINATOR launches its’ complement of TIE FIGHTERS from its’ cargo bay. It brings its’ laser batteries to bear in the vicinity of the SOLAR FLARE. The SOLAR FLARE again rocks heavily from the laser blasts that occur relentlessly all around it.
LARSON
BOT, how much longer now?
BOT
Two minutes, Captain.
LARSON gets out of the turret and runs up towards the pilot’s chair.
LARSON
Look’s like I am going to have to perform some fancy maneuvers to get us to the jump point. Hold on to your bootstraps, BOT.
LARSON performs a hard dive just as a laser blast from the EXSANGUINATOR hits its’ engines. Sparks fly everywhere as the ship sputters for a few moments. LARSON shuts off a few switches and then flips them back on.
LARSON
Come on. Don’t fail me now.
BOT
Sir, we have reached the jump point.
LARSON flips the switches for the ship to jump into hyperspace. The familiar cascade of stars transpose forward as the ship lurches into hyperspace.
LARSON
(blows a huge sigh of relief) Whooooosh. That was a close one.
BOT
Sir, according to my readings, the engines will only sustain hyperspace for a few parsecs.
LARSON
What’s the closest system that we can get to?
BOT
Yag’Dhul.
LARSON lays in a course for Yag’Dhul.
LARSON
Alright, hopefully, they will have the parts that we will need to repair the hyperdrive.
INT. – STAR DESTROYER EXSANGUINATOR – BRIDGE
IMPERIAL OFFICER DOOGAN
Sir, we did get a hit on the SOLAR FLARE’s engines.
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
But, not enough to stop it from going into hyperspace. I need you to get me in contact with the Bounty Hunter Guild.
IMPERIAL OFFICER DOOGAN
Yes, sir.
EXT. – SPACE – YAG’DHUL SYSTEM
We see YAG’DUL, homeworld of the Givin. It is a small and barren planet that has three large moons encircling it. The moons have produced tidal forces so extreme that the planet’s surface is mostly a huge vacuum. Only the poles support any life.
INT. – SOLAR FLARE – COCKPIT
LARSON
SOLAR FLARE requesting permission to land.
We see a Givin. It is a creature that has a skeletal look to its’ facial features. It is wearing a red robe and is holding a silver metallic staff that it uses to steady itself.
GLYTHE
Permission granted, Captain.
LARSON
Thank you.
The SOLAR FLARE heads for the South Polar region on the planet where a huge spaceport is located. It lands at one of the docking platforms and is lowered into the spaceport. LARSON and BOT transverse down the landing platform to the awaiting Givin.
GLYTHE
What services do you require, Captain?
LARSON
My hyperdrive is acting up. It needs to be repaired.
GLYTHE
Our facility should have the resources and parts that you require to repair your vessel, Captain. Go down the passageway and take the first left. That is the repair warehouse.
LARSON
Thank you.
LARSON and BOT proceed to the repair warehouse. They enter the location and see a wide variety of parts on small flat shelves.
LARSON
Let’s split up and look for something useful.
BOT
Useful for what, Captain?
LARSON
Useful for fixing up the ship; I don’t care if it looks good or not. Heck, we might as well take everything.
LARSON goes to the nearest table and starts to grab everything off of it. BOT follows suit and they start to bring all of the parts back to where the ship docked.
BOT
Captain, we are going to need a way to disguise our ship so that it will be harder to locate by the Imperial fleet.
LARSON
What do you suggest?
BOT
I suggest that we paint the ship a different color and change the transponder on the ship to match that of an Imperial delegate ship, the Quantum Thrust. It was a ship that was being overhauled back on Bestine IV.
LARSON
Okay. Sounds like a good plan. Let’s get started.
They proceed back to the warehouse where they grab some Imperial Grey paint and bring it back to the ship. Both of them commence spraying the paint over the rust and blast marks that litter the ship.
INT. – STAR DESTROYER EXSANGUINATOR – CAPTAIN’S HOLOGRAM ROOM
We see the images of two Bounty Hunters in the background. One of the bounty hunters is clad in glistening white armor. Along its side is a towering Wookiee.
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
Do you understand the request? You are to get the microchip back at all costs. Disintegrations are authorized.
TINIAN I’ATT
I understand. Chenlambec and I will accept your offer. Awaiting transmission of the agreed credits.
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
Transmitting.
CHENLAMBEC
(in Shyriiwook) 20,000 credits. That must be a very serious microchip.
TINIAN I’ATT
That’s what I’m worried about. (to the Captain) The agreed credits have been received. It’s been a pleasure doing business with you, Captain.
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
(grunts to the holoscreen as he switches it off and brings up another different image)
Have you heard everything that has transpired?
UNKNOWN VOICE
I have. TINIAN I’ATT and CHENLAMBEC will pay for stealing my ship.
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
Just get me that microchip! I don’t care if you have to kill the other Bounty Hunters or not.
UNKNOWN VOICE
Oh… don’t worry, Captain. I will recover your precious microchip. But, I will deal with them in my own way, Captain. Leave that to me.
EXT. – SOLAR FLARE – LANDING DOCK
We see that LARSON ZELL and BOT have finished painting the SOLAR FLARE in Imperial Grey paint. BOT is inside reconfiguring the transponder to match the QUANTUM THRUSTS’.
LARSON
How much longer before you are done?
BOT
One to two more hours, Captain.
LARSON
Good. Those Givin are giving me the creeps. The sooner that we are out of here, the better.
BOT
I do not sense anything creepy about the Givin, Captain.
LARSON
(sarcastically) You wouldn’t.
We see the HOUND’S TOOTH approaching YAG’DHUL. It proceeds to land at a nearby docking pad. TINIAN I’ATT, clad in glistening white armor, and her Wookiee companion, CHENLAMBEC, disembark from the ship and cautiously proceed to where the SOLAR FLARE is docked. Another vessel approaches the system. It is slender oval in shape as it glides to another nearby landing pad. We see a mysterious figure in the shadows as it lingers nearby.
TINIAN
(seeing LARSON outside of the ship) Alright, hands up, Spacer. (She points her blaster squarely at LARSON).
LARSON
What’s with the greeting, lady?
TINIAN
My name is TINIAN I’ATT and my associate here is CHENLAMBEC. I suggest that you come with us peacefully.
LARSON
Why? What did I do?
BOT exits the ship to tell LARSON that the ship is ready for travel.
BOT
CHENLAMBEC growls at the droid as it hides behind LARSON.
TINIAN
And bring your droid as well.
LARSON and BOT walk away from their ship while TINIAN and CHENLAMBEC escort them to the HOUND’S TOOTH. Suddenly, laser blasts come out from behind a passageway leading to the HOUND’S TOOTH. They impact on TINIAN’S armor, but bounce harmlessly away. TINIAN pushes LARSON and BOT to the ground while she and CHENLAMBEC start to fire at the mysterious creature as it fires continuously at them. It manages to blast TINIAN’S rifle from her grasp as it skips away behind her.
TINIAN
We can’t make it out on the HOUND’S TOOTH. We’ll have to use your ship, Spacer.
LARSON
(quickly grabs her weapon and points it at her) I don’t think so.
Another laser blast knocks TINIAN down to the ground. LARSON quickly lays down some cover fire while CHENLAMBEC quickly grabs TINIAN off of the ground. TINIAN is unconscious. CHENLAMBEC growls and roars at the mysterious stranger and then starts to run back towards the SOLAR FLARE while carrying TINIAN.
LARSON
Hey, wait for us!
The laser blasts continue after the group as they rush back towards the SOLAR FLARE.
They race up the landing platform and close the doors. CHENLAMBEC places TINIAN on a table.
LARSON
Quick, BOT, grab the medical kit.
BOT grabs the medical kit and hands it to LARSON. He applies some bacta gel to TINIAN’S wounds and then bandages them.
LARSON
That will have to do for now.
CHENLAMBEC roars at LARSON.
LARSON
Look; I did the best that I can do. She’ll be alright. I promise. But, right now, we need to get out of here; and fast.
LARSON and BOT race to the cockpit where they fire up the thrusters. The ship starts to ascend off of the landing pad. The mysterious stranger climbs into the HOUND’S TOOTH and fires up its’ engines. It proceeds after the SOLAR FLARE. THE HOUND’S TOOTH powers up its weapons and fires at the SOLAR FLARE. A huge explosion is heard in the cargo area which ruptures away from the ship. LARSON sees the cargo hold floating away from the ship. THE HOUND’S TOOTH again shoots at the cargo hold which explodes in a fiery blast.
LARSON
Alright, whoever you are! You just blew up my cargo bay. Now, you’re really making me upset!
LARSON returns fire at the HOUND’S TOOTH as he heads towards YAG’DHUL’S three moons.
UNKNOWN VOICE
You have a microchip in your possession. I am giving you ONE minute to hand it over before I blow the rest of your ship away!
LARSON
It’s going to take longer than ONE minute. My ship is now a wreck thanks to you. It’s going to take a little time to search for it now!
UNKNOWN VOICE
FORTY-FIVE SECONDS and counting.
LARSON
(turning to BOT) I am going to try something. Hang on for dear life.
LARSON and BOT buckle themselves securely in.
UNKNOWN VOICE
THIRTY SECONDS and counting. Your time is almost up.
THE HOUND’S TOOTH races in closer to the SOLAR FLARE as it is now in the LAGRANGE point of the three moons.
LARSON
(to BOT) Okay, here we go.
THE SOLAR FLARE ignites in a huge blazing trail that blinds surrounding area. THE HOUND’S TOOTH fires away at the vacated space blasting away at now empty space.
UNKNOWN VOICE
Where did they go? (Sees a huge fiery trail that leads around one of the three moons). You won’t get far, Zell.
THE SOLAR FLARE is anchored to a large piece of debris from the cargo bay. All of its systems are powered off. Zell and BOT look out the cockpit window as they see THE HOUND’S TOOTH pass by their location.
LARSON
Not too bad of an escape if I say so myself.
TINIAN I’ATT
I wouldn’t gloat too much, Zell.
LARSON
I thought that you were….
TINIAN
DEAD! Well, no thanks to you, I almost was.
LARSON
Look, we are now in serious trouble. It’s only a matter of time before The HOUND’S TOOTH turns back and finds us.
TINIAN
Great! You might as well flare up one last time for a grand finale.
LARSON
Actually, that’s not a bad idea.
TINIAN
I was just kidding.
LARSON
(to BOT) How close are we to THE HOUND’S TOOTH?
BOT
It has turned around and will be at our location in one minute.
TINIAN
What do you have in mind, LARSON?
LARSON
As soon as he gets within range, I will once again ignite the engines on overload. That should cause him to tumble into the gravitational pull of one of those moons.
TINIAN
And hopefully, that will damage his ship enough not to chase us?
LARSON
If I am right, we should be still safe here in the LAGRANGE point. The burst will cause his ship to be pulled onto one of those moons.
TINIAN
And if not?
LARSON
Then we’ll all be blown to bits by either THE HOUND’S TOOTH or be pulled to the surface of one of those moons as well.
TINIAN
That’s not exactly what I would call encouraging.
LARSON
It’s our only chance. Now, strap yourselves in. I’m going to ignite the engines again.
TINIAN I’ATT and CHENLAMBEC strap themselves into a pair of seats behind the pilot’s and navigator’s seats. They look outside of the SOLAR FLARE and see that BOSSK is at the controls of the HOUND’S TOOTH.
TINIAN
It’s been nice knowing you, BOSSK.
BOSSK
I have finally reclaimed my stolen ship from you, TINIAN I’ATT and CHENLAMBEC! You are now going to pay for taking it from my possession!
BOT
THE HOUND’S TOOTH is in range, Captain.
LARSON
Three… two… one… IGNITION!
The SOLAR FLARE once again ignites its’ main engines leaving a blinding trail of lighted fuel in its wake. The ignition causes the HOUND’S TOOTH to be caught in the gravitational pull of one of YAG’DHUL’S moons. The extreme tidal forces of the moon cause The HOUND’S TOOTH to descend at a rapid speed towards the moon’s surface. THE HOUND’S TOOTH crashes hard onto the surface of the moon splitting into two pieces. BOSSK exits the ship just in time before it explodes in a fiery display. He shakes his fist at the lighted trail that fades slowly from his view. He then breaks out a commlink.
BOSSK
I need assistance. The SOLAR FLARE has escaped.
CAPTAIN DESNARCAM
The EXSANGUINATOR will be at your location shortly. Then we will travel to Naboo where you will NOT fail me again. Do you understand?
BOSSK
I understand. Bossk out.
We see the SOLAR FLARE (now looking and transponding as the QUANTUM THRUST) power up its hyperdrive as it now heads towards Naboo.
TINIAN
Look, LARSON, I want to thank you for saving me back there on YAG’DHUL.
LARSON
Think nothing of it. I was merely reacting to the moment.
TINIAN
Boy, you sure need some work with the way you talk to women.
LARSON
(looking at BOT as TINIAN exits) What did I say?

Personally, I really like this. It zips right along, and I really like the way Bossk's identity is saved as a surprise. You really want to know who it is that's following them.

Tomorrow I am starting "script weekend," and hopefully by evening on Sunday I will have a final first draft up to this point. Then we can all read it over and talk over an appropriate ending.
