Okay, so what is Bot's reason for visiting a medcenter?

LLL posted: Every place Larson shows up is a new set we didn't see in Part One, and the droid can be "drawn" in. Am I right?

A request:
I just found out my boss died. Not even 58 years old, he was literally here one day and gone the next. Just gone with no warning.
I've worked for a lot of vets, and he was truly the best of the bunch. He was generous to his staff, and kind to the staff, too. When you work for people who are nice in front of the clients but who gossip about their employees, or worse, literally curse and throw stuff at their employees, you know how important--and rare--that is. He wasn't the kind of guy who nickel and dimed people or overcharged people. Hopewell, Virginia is an economically depressed area, and there are a lot of people there with healthy pets because he would always find a way to work with folks. He was a truly good person, and I've been crying on and off all day. I, and the whole city of Hopewell along with me, am really going to miss him.
The staff all called him "Spim" because of his initials. It's a small thing, but we need a name for our droid, and I wonder if we might boil the name down to "SPIM" in honor of my boss...a good vet and a truly fine human being.

I think that's a great name for a droid. SP-1M for the long name, maybe? And the kids grew up calling him Spim.
I'm sorry for your loss, hon.

That looks really cool! Except this droid is a female.
Thanks.

SPIM... SP-1M... I like it. Sorry to hear about your loss. I would be delighted to name BOT "SP-1M (SPIM)" in your 'ol friend's honor. I'm sure everyone feels the same.
SPIM can be a girls name.

Not a big fan of Sp-1m myself.
As far as a rewrite goes....
They arrive on Bestine IV and are thrown into a holding cell after the dock administrator on Naboo circulated Larson's identity across the Imperial network. Two bounty hunters are in a neighboring cell, allowing conversations to be shot separately. BOT manages to unlock the cell and Larson says it's time to get out of there and there is no way he is going anywhere near the medcenter, not with Imperial troops on every corner. He's going straight to his ship and getting off the planet. Despite BOTS's protests, Larson says no and they go their separate ways.
From inside the other holding cell the two bounty hunters offer their services (can't remember their names, but I mean the wookiee and the female) and so BOT releases them. The wookiee goes with Bot while the other bounty hunter goes to her ship. The doctor is wise enough to know not to go up against a wookiee and gives up the medicine, plus payment to the bounty hunters.
they then go to the Bounty Hunters ship and take off, but there's a Star Destroyer in orbit, waiting to capture them. After a chase and fire fight in space, it looks like the ship will be captured but Larson shows up at the last moment to lend a helping hand, allowing Bot and the bounty hunters to escape.
Following that, the Bounty Hunters ship is damaged and has to land in a nearby system to make repairs, while the Star Destroyer captain sends Bossk after them. They have a confrontation on the planet and Bossk is killed...and here's the twist, BOT takes Bossks ship. being a personal droid to the Admiral, it stands to reason that it would know how to fly a ship. The bounty hunters go their own way and Bot returns to Naboo alone...and then the finale.
Or alternatively, have Larson go with Bot to the medcenter and get arrested after that and have Bot go on with the Bounty hunters as above.

Well, according to they wrote above, Larson can't be in part 3. That means no Larson and Bot at the medcenter.

Which is why I came up with them going to jail first and having the wookiee go with bot to see the doctor...after all it's not wise to upset a wookiee.
Plus, since it would be someone in a suit (or perhaps another type of alien if a wookiee suit would be too difficult, you could potentially have different actors at different shoots wearing one, as long as they are all the same height and the suits look the same.
Larson then gets his big finish, helping BOT and the Bounty Hunters escape the wrath of the star destroyer.
You can have one crew shoot their prison cell stuff, the stuff on their ships, at the docking bay where their ship is on Bestine and on the planet they land on for repairs, as well as all the Bossk stuff which would take place on the planet, apart from a greenscreen hologram with the Star Destroyer. Bot can then take Bossks ship back to Naboo, thereby solving the problem of having anyone other than Bot appear at the locations first shown in parts 1 and 2.
Then you could have the Star Destroyer follow Bot back to Naboo and have a confrontation with stormtroopers at the family home. Bot is destroyed and the Admiral healed but arrested because the troops believe he was involved in BOTS crimes. And there is your ending.
Bot manages to heal his Master, but his actions result in his master being taken away by the Empire.

Condolences on your loss, LLL.
I'll need some convincing on "SP-1M"... preferably an in-universe etymology for the designation, backed up with some wookieepedia references that it all "fits." Does a fully-custom droid even need an alpha-numeric designation?
I like the direction JedSithor's treatment goes:
the jail cells would definitely help smooth the seams between several crews' footage. Sort of like an american immigration/customs-enforcement holding cell: not a full-on prison so the security could be lax and the cells could be on the same grounds as the spaceport. Won't Spim-Bot need to be fluent in Shiriwook? How about the Wookiee gets wounded, and the droid is the only one who can translate and so gets brought along to the medcenter?
Not sure about that ending, though. What if the family uses Bossk's ship to become outlaws?
Just spitballing, here, and batting 0.000 if anyone's keeping a tally.
