Well, it can contain some humor,-a little- just as long as that's not the overall theme.  I'm willing to bend the rules on this.  Come to think of it, I don't think I could do the challenge without a little humor either.  I mean, how do you use the word "bantha brain" in a serious context? I hope I didn't make this challenge impossible.

Hey... we need an entry from Star too.  A fun future challenge might be Luke and Han doing the new daddy thing LOL The latest vig in Tales of Tatooine had Owen getting prematurely gray when Beru left him in charge

Wonderful story and yes, it meets the criteria! You did a terrific job brodie! Thanks for doing the challenge! Go check out the responses everyone!
Maybe after these crazy weeks of school are done I'll find time to work on the index. And here's a second challenge- nothing too picky about it.
Challenge #2:
Write an story in which Han and Luke (And if you'd like, Leia and/or Chewie too) find time to sit down and talk about for the first time what happened at Bespin. They all went through so much stuff then, I wonder what it was like when they finally discussed it. Any length will do- Vignette, songfic, short story, poem, novel, epic(LOL ) -anything you'd like! Any genre too, though I'm partial to this challenge having a more serious tone to it. I'm going relatively easy on everyone this time.

I'm not sure if I have a story for this, but the timeline is fun to trace. The major places for interaction seem to be:
- Bespin; Sith Happens
- After escape on Millennium Falcon, characters are:
- - - Luke
- - - Leia
- - - Han
- - - Chewie
- - - R2
- - - 3PO
- At Rebel fleet, characters are:
- - - same
- - - plus rebels, Wedge, etc.
- Locked up in cells at Jabba's place
- - - Luke
- - - Han
- - - Chewie
- Post blowing up Jabba on Tatooine
- - - Luke
- - - Han
- - - Chewie
- - - Lando
- - - Leia
- - - R2
- - - 3PO
- On shuttle to Endor
- - - Han
- - - Luke

- - - Rebels
- Post Endor party and afterward

There isn't any chance for getting Han in the mix until after they get in out of the carbonite. But there are those times before then when Luke has just gotten his hand cut off when he might discuss Bespin with Leia and Chewie and Lando. Do those times count for the challenge? Since this is a Han and Luke challenge, I'm inclined to think not.

I'd love to read about Luke discussing Bespin with Leia, Chewie, and Lando, but you're right- for the challenge, Han must be in it too. And you're right about them not having a chance to really talk until later. I just pictured them having time to sit down after the war, and finally catch up on all that's happened, tell their stories.
