The Sci-Fi/Fantasy: Books and Comics writing contest is starting up again (that is, if we get enough people willing to write). If you're interested in writing 2-10 thousand words of original fiction in the sci-fi/fantasy genre, please state your interest here. There's some more info and links to previous contests in the thread.
If we can get enough people to get this going, winner earns a week of colors. Seriously, we'd love to have you guys participate. It's a lot of fun, and you get more than just bragging rights.

I'll think about it. I have an idea, but I don't know how workable it is. I presume the standard TOS guidelines for fanfic still apply?

Correct. Ther will be a prompt, probably the first sentence, but it'll be non-gender-specific and can work with sci-fi or fantasy.

Actually, sign-ups haven't technically started. The last few contests we barely had any participation, so Raven and I needed to make sure that there was enough interest. I'll probably start official sign-ups tonight, and I'll PM anyone who has expressed interest
