Here is my first entry to the Mother's Day challenge: Side by Side, Year 5, Month 8. It's part of a dual diary.
EDIT:
Here's another response. For my final chapter in A Twin Suns Romance, II: Barren, I portrayed the relationship between Beru and her mother... though Beru is full grown and engaged to Owen in this story. Our children are always our 'CHILD', no matter how old they are.

Now, I need your opinions: would you like to have vote to find out the public favourite? Or should we keep this simply as a gathering of mother/child stories? The subject is now up for you to discuss, as well as the form in which we would conduct that possible vote.

The problem with voting, is there are so many good entries to choose from, it's hard to pick a favorite! We could hold a discussion about the different ways in which the entries were approached... I mean, not all mother/child relationships are the same. We could discuss the different dynamics.
