I've been toying with the idea of a Star Trek fan fic series...but with nowheres to post, until now, I kept it held back.
Now the bunny is biting at full force...
I'm looking for anyone interesting in collaborating with me. We can freely exchange ideas. I'm sure I'm not the only Trekkie here in fan fic.
So PM me or post here if you're interested.

Thanks for responding. I already pm'd brodiew this, but I'll post it here.
My idea was centered around getting back to the base roots of Trek, namely just shooting into the unknown. At the same time, I wish to incorporate the strengths of DS9 (plot arcs, in depth exploration of humanity itself), TNG and VGR (boldly going into the unknown, strong chracters, which also applies to DS9 too) amd TOS (great episodic format, great characters).
The idea centers around a yet to be named vessel which carries the first ever stable quantum slipstream drive. Even more advanced, the drive finally makes possible the exploration of the depths of the Beta Quadrant, the Detla, and Gamma.
A simple premise, but one with lots of potential, IMO. The five year mission begins in 2391. I'd like to work with you guys to concieve the characters. I've got a main villian species in mind, one with no background and based on a throwaway line in Voyager. See here for what little info exists.
It'd be written as if it were a TV series, with at least ten "episodes" in a season. We can do less or more of anyone wants.
So any ideas to add?
