First things first, do you at least remember for which era that was?
If you mean Loch’s Luck as Best Action for Before, the pms for that era are not yet out. The final counts are still tallied.  Same is of course true for all other nomms of that era.
The Journal itself was nommed for Most Underrated in Saga, and the excerpt is due tonight. You have to send it to the SagaFanFicAward sock. I don't know what you do for Best New author, though. 
Since you're not in the nomms for Beyond, you have nothing to worry about there.

Hmmm...Well it was for "Most underrated," which is the Journal itself...didn't get a PM for that.
And new author...no PM for that.
Also, can you post a link to access where the nominations are listed? Can't seem to find it! I suck at navigating these boards.

celine, the list of nominated and qualified fics can be found here in the Official Saga Awards thread. You'll have to scroll down a ways.
Since you qualified under both Best Underrated and Best New Author, you should have received a PM about sending in excerpts. I hope you didn't get overlooked somehow.
