It's also good to put actirs in there you think have should have been in SW.

One of my OCs, Renust Nju, if he was in the films he'd be played by Alan Rickman. However, I have yet to find a picture of Alan Rickman that resembles my character as he has long grey hair and I'm not that good a photoshopping.

Costuming counts too sometimes, somehow people wearing neckties in SW is wrong. Another of my OCs, Sona Cantari, I have Aiswarya Rai as and there's a film called the Last Legion where she wears Jedi-ish robes.

I once went to a Halloween party as an OC who was pregnant.

I had gained weight, and I was so fat there was no one else I could go as.

*laments the dearth of larger-size characters in the movies*

Oh, she's got a lovely regal aura. Very nice. grin

I'm generally won't turn away from a visual inspiration, but I do admit that I had to "recast" the role of a courtesan in a story that I plan on writing as a sequel to another story that is almost finished. I was struck by the image of the model, Simonetta Vespucci, from Botticelli's Birth of Venus. I thought it might be interesting to stretch a bit and draw inspiration from the past in a form that wasn't just architectural or a landscape. But I have this odd moral code about not using dead people for my fiction, so I had to find someone living instead.

For the sake of reference, the Simonetta Vespucci entry at Wikipedia: Venus In The Realm of The Real
