	Oh, that's awful, Takianna! Sorry to hear. Today I drove on the freeway for the first time. I'm still very new to driving, and am currently taking lessons, and today was my freeway lesson. Merging into traffic at over 100 km/h is not my idea of a good time, so I was pretty much panicking all day. Anyway, I get in the car for my lesson, and things start off okay, and I feel a little more confident - and then we end up in Hamilton, a city with about 500,000 people, and have to go through downtown at rush hour. This is more traffic than I have ever driven in. But I managed to get through it, and then I had to face my biggest fear - merging onto the freeway. It was terrifying, but I did it, and got back home in one piece, and looking back, I can even say that it was kind of fun (the freeway-driving part, at least...I'm still absolutely terrified of merging). 	Good to hear it went all right, amidalachick. My doctor's appointment went well. No major health problems... except I have an abundance of ear wax. 	Did everyone see MJ's casket? Wow! Unfortunately, due to stupid time zones, the Memorial didn't start till 2:30am here for me. But lucky after all my usual Tuesday night shows, they ran MJ stuff all night until then. Was good to see Thriller on a larger and better quality screen than just youtube, the vid is creepy. So naturally, from staying up till 4am, I'm I only stayed up till the very beginning of the memorial. Luckily I'm in for the day today. -----signature----- "People of Earth! 	I didn't catch the memorial, as I was at work. Mostly, we were trying to avoid having to drive across town. Thankfully, I live close enough to work that it was not at all an issue. Right now I'm actually drawing! It's slow-going, but so far I love it. 	No VBS, but I'm seriously considering taking a week to volunteer at a retreat center aimed more at college kids. There's one not far from where I live now, and I worked at their sister camp in northern Michigan for six months. 	I've never heard of VBS... although what everyone's been saying makes me want to stay away. I volunteer with school-age kids on weekdays, and they're already a handful when they're doing kid stuff.
