	My mom always invites a ton of people over for Independence Day because we have the best view of fireworks in the neighborhood. Then we usually stay up most of the night watching the hill we live on burn due to illegal fireworks. Last night people started a little early and we watched a tiny speck turn into a full blown brush fire. It was so remote that it took a looooong time for the firefighters to get there. 	This year my family is gonna drive downtown to the parking lot of some church like we always do, and watch the fireworks that are set off nearby. If I gave you more details you wouldn't be confused, but I liek to confuse ppl. The reason I can't just stay home and watch fireworks there is because people can't have private fireworks anymore because of this damn drought. 	LOL, I have a friend with two kids and I've seen her write in chapter notes "Here is the Nick, Jr. site that inspired this one scene." I once wrote an entire chapter based on two teenagers acting like her kids. It was fun. 	LOL, my fix is Macy's. I found a cream-colored silk shirt with a rose print on it on Friday for 20, plus a very blue patterned gypsy skirt. Between those two things, I feel very girly and attractive. That helps offset me being embarrassed by my sunburn. I went swimming yesterday and woke up to find I have a red circle on my back where the bathing suit didn't cover and red patches on my shoulders. 	Ooh, that's always fun, Vadey. I pulled out all my summer clothes a couple days ago and rediscovered some stuff I'd forgotten about, so it was almost as exciting as getting new stuff!
