	I posted part of this story on the Beyond the Saga. Here's an revised and expanded prologue. I would appreciate any comments on it. Rak Ghoul War AU after the YJK/JJK series. Palpatine smiled as he considered his 'guest', the energy cage prevented her from employing the Dark Side against him. He could feel her untapped rage and the whispers of the ancient Sith Spirit from within the Muur Talisman. The powers of the Muur Talisman had first been described to him decades ago by Darth Plageuis. Muur had been considered a visionary by Plageuis and he had spent several years trying to find the Muur Talisman before his death. Palpatine had considered the stories of the Talisman as being distorted by the passage of millenia until one of his spy droids had recorded Vader's encounter with Celeste Morne shortly after the birth of the Empire. At the time other matters had occupied his attention, he only needed to prevent Morne from escaping the moon she was stranded upon until he was ready to deal with her from a position of strength. Luke Skywalker's encounter with the Old Republic Jedi had reminded him of this matter and he had dispatched several of his agents to capture Morne and secure the talisman for himself. Many Hands and numerous Inquisitors had died in the multiple attempts to capture her only recently had they been successful in securing this prize for her. The Talisman itself would be removed for further study, the research facility on Tython would be more than sufficent to catalogue and analyse the level of power that the talisman was capable of. As to Morne herself with suitable education she would make a fine addition to his cadre of Dark Jedi once he had finished breaking her. In the meantime to ensure that no difficulties occur she would be placed into cyro stasis, perhaps her conditioning would be a good first task for the son of Skywalker once he had pledged his loyalty to the Empire. 24 Years Later. Luke turned and looked over the forests that covered Kashyykk. He turned and studied grimly the last remanents of the Jedi Order and the New Republic Military. This would be the last stand for them all, the disease that had consumed the Republic had turned into a rising tide of Darkness that had swept away but the last pockets of resistance. He began to focus his sight on the army standing a few feet away. He watched as the leader of this army emerged from within her command centre, he could almost the whirr of her cybernetics as her face twisted into a malevolent smile. "At last you're beaten Skywalker, my revenge upon you is complete and with you gone the Jedi delusion will be extinguished forever" Lumiya said in a voice dripping with glee. Luke screamed and awoke. The visions had started about two months ago and only gotten more and more horrific the closer it got to the celebrations of the New Republic's founding. Recently the visions had started to include others than Lumiya, he recognised many of them as the surviving members of the Inquisitors and Palpatine's Dark Jedi. The woman who he had met decades ago on that moon he had recognised instantly, likewise Fable Astin and the Brandl family as well as Daala but others were unknown to him had also manifested the Whiphid and the trio of Sith Spirits were unknown to him. Tython. Lumiya smiled as she clasped the ancient Sith Artifact lovingly in her hands this would finally give her the power to achieve her revenge on Skywalker and his contemptible Republic.
