Ok, I'm having a problem with SW Continuity and planet names. There are just too many out there.

I've already got most of the outline work done. I'm thinking of Anubi as an outter-rim planet name. Can anyone tell me if this has been used in the SW EU?

Do you mean Anobis(Hero's Trial: p134)?

Anobis is right next to Ord Mantell in the Outer Rim. Check out the Vector Prime starmap for better reference.

If you're not sure of EU material, post a topic on the Literature board. We're the masters of what needs to be know, what is known, and what isn't even known!

Hope this helps.

Rock-a-by baby, on the treetop,
Beaming with pride, the filth they hold,
But when the wind blows, my temper implodes,
High above a pit, filled with sharkticons,
Down will come hardcover addicts, beaming no more. ©

Or you could hope that your readers are as clueless as you, which is sometimes the case . . . silly [face_guilty] Even if you do make a mistake, its no biggie. wink The pro authors do it, and massive threads about it is often the result . . . Anyway!

Good luck. happy

Actually I'm looking for a name that hasn't been used before. I might end up using Tethan, or some variation of it, it has a better ring to it and might fit in a little better with SW.

thanks. happy

One of my favourite on-line resources is the Completely Unofficial Star Wars Encyclopedia. Here's a link to the section on planets

By clicking on "T", for instance, you can discover that there is already a planet named Teth.

Look through the glossary of a science textbook for inspiration grin There's a whole lot of funny words that I use for various purposes.

I have a Galaxy Map File in MS Excel that was created from the old WEG RPG stuff and some other resources as well. It might not have all the book stuff, but since the authors were using the WEG stuff themselves, I don't think there are any that aren't in there. Not that I've found so far anyway. It even has some travel times between systems in it.

PM me your email addy if you're interested in it.
