I just finished reading what you have written so far and I must say WOW. This is a great story. Your mix of drama and humor are perfect. I may not be the best judge of literature, but this is one of the best pieces of fan fiction I have read for a while (and I read a lot). I like a story that takes me away from the troubles and worries of my own life for a little while, and your's does a wonderful job of doing just that.
I was a little uncomfortable with the direction I thught you were going to take Jacen Solo in at first, but as the story went on I got a little less nervous about it. Though I do have to say I'm not so sure he would be quite so girlie if you will. I never got that impression from the novels.
My compliments on your original character of Jen. At least I think she's an original character, i might be wrong as I am a new comer to these boards. Anyway, i really like her character and I think she compliments Jacen well. Her response to Lady Hiatee's comments was highly appropriate.
One thing I would like to see in future installments of this story is an explaination of Mara's sudden turn around in her opinion of Kyp. I mean one minute she hates his guts with a murderous passion and the next she is wishing him and Jaina well and acting like she never had any objections to their marriage. What gives? Was it Kyp's speech at the reception? What?
Any way, even though I might not totally agree with all aspects of your story, overall, i think it is very good and I would give it a 10 out of 10.
Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please write more very, very soon. I want to see how Lady Hiatee reacts to that punch in the face.
By the way, where did you come up with the name of your story. I dabble in writing some myself and I sometimes find it difficult to come up with a name for my stories.

psst.... TJP, I hope you don't mind, but because the task of sitting and reading and constantly bookmarking and deleting and resaving bookmarks and reloading and reading and sitting and blah was rather daunting, and I only started reading this the day before I had to back to (boarding) school anyway, I saved all the parts (by scanning through each page, copy/pasting, not reading, etc) to my laptop and read them at school.
Like.... thank you for writing such an awesome AWESOME fic.
Seriously. The first week back at school, every time I had some kind of crappy moment in class, I thought, hey, I can read more of PDP when I get to my room!

This is an awesome story.
Did I say that?
Well, it is.
I really hope you're still writing this, because it's absolutely brilliant.
